The game is kinda vague on stuff but I figured most out. I was wondering, how do you send gifts? Sometimes I see stars by yalls names on the leader boards and I'll click em. Not sure what that does. Also losing a card drop cause you die stupidly/instantly got me like # Heh the timers don't bother me much since I'm pretty busy. Plus I just bounce back n forth from both ones. Hell I enjoy it so much I bought it on steam too.
GC: olon I realized today that when a GC friend appears during a mission that you need to be in the circle above them and not on top of their "person". Not sure if this is part of gifting or just extra points, but it appears to only work once even though the marker will still appear on repeat attempts. Also, beat the final stage on normal about 10 minutes ago and my heart is still racing... I'm NOT looking forward to doing that boss battle on insane - not sure my heart can take it. Great game though!
Something is screwy. Pluto, I've received 350 stars from you about 5 times in the last hour! Edit: make that 6 now. Twice in about 5 minutes. Edit 2: 7. You get the idea. Maybe I shouldn't go to bed!
I think the gifts are automatic. I have got multiple gifts from Jay this evening. I was actually going to ask if anyone is getting gifts from me. I am not doing anything except playing. Sometimes I come across a person's death symbol and do a rescue, but that is interesting that I have sent so many gifts. Got a new ship that supposedly increases card drop rate, but it does not seem to make any difference unlike the limp berzerker which is a truly awesome ship.
Hi all! The gifts are indeed sent automatically. Every time you find a plane part of a temporal card - your friends also get it (unless they have that part already, or another card is in effect - then it's turned into gold). As for the installation timers - we're pretty happy with how they function, so it's unlikely that we'll be changing that. The temporal card that installs upgrades is a great help here. I like stockpiling stars in hope of finding this card, and when I finally do - it's shopping bonanza : ) Equipment levels will, obviously, be raised with updates. We just don't want people to start the levels we're making with overpowered ships, as it would break the experience. We've got more levels cooking than 2 years ago, so stay tuned. Where is the best level to grind out stars? In 2014 I did repeats of that level where you had to dodge the EMP in insane difficulty to grind out huge numbers of stars. Is there such a sweet spot level in this game?
Oh you can rescue others by their death marker? I'll have to try that next time I see one. Glad the gifting mystery is over. Last night y'all were sending me a lot of plane parts ##
