None, sorry. The development of our old engine has been halted around the time we've switched to Unity (which is over 4 years now). The amount of work required to bring it back to life is simply unjustified. Sky Force Anniversary should be a worthy replacement, though. Best regards, Peter, Infinite Dreams.
Sky Force is probably the only game I haven't bought from you guys. You are definitely one of my favorite developers, I'll have to check this out.
Hi, TA! Today we'd like to share an artwork showing some stages of our 3D asset production: Although there are many lighthouses in Sky Force to demolish, this particular one can be destroyed in a really spectacular way! @PraetorianX: Of course, Sky Force Anniversary will be a universal app. Best regards, Peter, Infinite Dreams.
Wow looks great Pleaseeee make sure relative touch is a control option ! 'Sometimes' the controls can really kill what can be a great game
Relative touch is usually my favourite control method, so yeah, I'll make sure it's there. Now, The Lighthouse Story continues... Here's a scene of the lighthouse battle, frozen in time Matrix-style. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Tell us if you like it. Or if you don't. Anything, really ;-) Best regards, Peter, Infinite Dreams.
This looks great !!! Would love to play the original again though (Its not on the app store anymore is it ?) but this is an instant purchase from me once its out, looks great
Wow guys, I knew there was a reason I have loved ID all these years! Game looks amazing. It would be cool if you could pause the game anywhere and swipe to get a matrix style view like the video. I think more developers should do things like that so we could admire the work they put in even more, but I also understand the downside is that it reveals flaws as well. I remember project Gotham 3 you could do this (and motorstorm)
Thanks! We're happy you all like it so much. And while I can't argue that this sort of content is great to look at in games, the flaws revealing is not the only downside. Unfortunatelly all those things outside the screen during normal gameplay consume hardware resources. There are some techniques to minimize that consumption, but we often choose to add some more particle effects or ground decals that are visible all the time, than to extend the landscape beyond the screen bounds so we could maybe move a camera to show it. There's that and the increased development time. We will try to squeeze in as much neat additions as possible without making you all wait for Sky Force Anniversary until Christmas 2014 Best regards, Peter, Infinite Dreams.
Hi, TouchArcade! Just so you won't forget that Sky Force Anniversary is in the making, here's another in-game screenshot: You can see how the same location looks now, and how it did 10 years ago. For those of you demanding greater detail, here's a link to a higher resolution image with pixel-perfect comparison: http://www.idreams.pl/Marketing/SkyForce2013/screenshot_sf_3_pixels.jpg I, personally, was a bit shocked realizing there's almost 100 times more pixels on iPad's retina than it was on Nokia 7650! As always - we're eager to hear from you. How do find these new graphics compared to the old ones? Do you see any improvement? Or perhaps, as a pixel-lover, you'd rather play pixelated Sky Force Anniversary? Best regards, Peter, Infinite Dreams.
Of course we can see the improvements! Graphics look awesome! No pixelated stuff please! Release date please!
can't wait guys. you just don't know how i much i love playing this on my n-gage back then. so now.....where is k-rally hahahahaha just kidding
Hi guys! Anything more precise than "few months more" at this stage would be me lying to you. As some of you have probably noticed by now - we like to take our time to polish our games, as much as we can, before releasing them. The production is going well and we're quite happy with the outcome so far. Like I said, few months from now seems to be a reasonable estimation. Meanwhile, we'll be feeding you some more screenshots and videos, so you don't die of starvation Best regards, Peter, Infinite Dreams.
