Why would you want to pay for something already free in the game? You're disappointed that you can't access this thing, have already paid for the game, but are willing to pay more for something you should already have anyway? The tournament does have an option to see worldwide high scores. There's no reason to require friends, and there would be no reason if there wasn't a worldwide leaderboard because there should be one.
I´m disappointed that I can´t access the turnament, yes. I would´t mind paying another $2 IAP to unlock the turnament, although I think it would be more logical to just drop the 5 friends requirement... what the point of this anyway? Comparing your score with friend or rescuing them is nice, but it shouldn´t be a requirement. I noticed a lot of people are looking here for extra friend playing Sky Force, so I am not the only one being locked out.. For every player making the effort of looking for extra friends on forums etc.., how many simply give up and stop playing? How many that eventually would have purchased some IAP? And while I see no problem sharing a pseudo with fellow players from here or other community, I´m not that confortable adding them on Facebook or G+ and sharing all sort of personal info

My first recording which unfortunately is a bitty laggy at times Video Was happy to finally manage to get all medals on level 8 at once, however my current highscore from level 8 is with just 3/4 medals but I was lucky with getting stars from crates that run. In my opinion getting all medals on a level should always generate higher scores rather than getting fewer medals but luck with crates. Oh well...
Just to clarify: Do you need to have five GC friends who have played the current tourney yo access it, or just five GC friends who have downloaded and played the game at some point? Thanks in advance for any info.
Thanks for the video, nice to see some different strategies how to win stage 8 on extreme And congrats for getting all medals! I doubt I'd be able to do it. About the scores: I hate the "luck factor" also a lot, but you also have to say that usually if you get less stars you get more power ups, so it tends to be a bit easier if you get less stars. Unless you are very unlucky and only hit lots of completely empty crates. Anyway I'd also appreciate it if that luck factor was minimized. But dunno if always getting the same stuff out of the same crates would be a good idea.
Level 6 is the place to farm for cards! Found this tip here on this thread and it couldn't be more helpful.

Hi all! I finally got all of the cards by farming stage 7 forever. I logged into Game Center for the first time and none of the achievements were done. I have almost all of the medals and have done more than 75% of all the achievements. But they just said 0/24! How do I fix this? Please reply as quickly as possible. Thanks!

Hey, everyone! The next update should be out sometime next week. The MFI support is going well, but since there are some requirements to all apps using controllers - we still need some time for that. Regarding the tournaments - the requirement is 5 friends who play SkyForce (no speciffic stage requirement).
