Thanks crapple. I tried posting a link but I failed as you can see from my previous post Ok, I fixed it. Apparently the only way to add links or pictures is on a PC, the TA app won't allow it as far as I know.
I'm 99.99% sure you can be hit with a shield and still count as "untouched." Stay away during the boss's lightning attack phase. That can end up barely touching you. I also had trouble here, two or three times I thought I was untouched but I still failed! And I finally got the medal... Now for Insane... Maybe I'll try it after I get all the cards.
Getting hit while having the shield 100% does not invalidate your medal. But the end boss has his tricks hurting you only slightly without you even noticing it. There are those pink thrusters (or whatever the word is for the pink things at the rear) that you have to stay away from, and I also noticed that touching the pink lasers slightly will damage you (you can hear a short buzzing sound) but health won't go down from 100%. If I am very aggressive hitting the guns at the side sometimes I noticed even quickly flying through the pink lasers will keep your health at 100% (but most likely invalidate the medal). So be extremely careful when dealing with the end boss.
Now the game only sees 1 of my 18 friends for the tournament and in my friends high score board. I can't play the tournament (needs 5). What's going on? I checked a few friends' game lists and the game is still listed, so why aren't they counted now? Glitch?
I just tried again after playing a different game. My friends are showing up again. ...except for adansantos, for some reason (someone mentioned him not showing up for them either earlier, what's up with this?)... I can play the tournament now. Speaking of this, I still need to rescue 8 more friends for the "rescue 20 friends" achievement. So if you want to, send me a friend request (same username as here). ...I just rescued some in the tournament and the achievement didn't change. # And one more, still 60%. #
A little bit of OT, but since I see that PeterID regularly reads this thread and I think a lot of old SF players are going to agree, I think this is the place to ask: Are InfiniteDreams planning on releasing other Symbian classics such as Explode Arena, SuperMiners, K-Rally? In my opinion all three of those games would see huge success on iOS and Android platform, same as Sky Force 2014 so I hope to see some of those titles
This is the only game I regularly play and hope they do similar games in the future! Take my money!!!
Only play about 30 mins a day. For stats grinding I would stick to lvl 3 or 4 on insane. I got a card that starts me with a shield so would purchase a lazer to go with it and I'm set.
Hi, I try to past some stage in Nigthmare, and i don't understand why the star mutiplicator stay at x3. I need more stars to finish them ...
I was, and I quote "mistakenly removed from the leaderboards" and then restored back, but this has unearthed some sort of glitch whereas if I play the game and finish a stage I will appear back on the leaderboards, only to disappear a while later. Annoying as hell, and it's put me off playing. I am told it is being investigated by Apple, but I'm not holding my breath. (Update: it seems they have fixed it!) I think the 'rescue 20 friends' achievement is bugged
