I had 99% stars, 100% killed, 100% saved on that level 8 run. Trying to get 100% stars as well, however I'm struggling with getting all of the stars from the end boss. It happens that my rockets kills a boss cannon right at the edge of the screen and if I'm unlucky the screen suddenly sweeps the other direction and the stars are impossible to collect.
Thank you, it worked. But IMO, it's a glitch. Either you lose health or you don't. When you finish a level with 100% health without health powerups, you should be awarded the "No damage" medal. Or else, when those electric cannons appear on screen, it should damage the ship.
Hey everyone! Unfortunatelly I can confirm now, that the VIP/Friend stars do give you extra score. There weren't meant to, but they do :/ We'll be fixing this, as well as providing a way for other players to beat adansantos' score ;-) Also, there was a bug with the laser not damaging some towers on the iPhone. Confirmed, already fixed. Actually I'm surprised no one has mentioned it earlier... Best regards, Peter, Infinite Dreams.

Since I got this card, I haven't noticed anything different in gameplay, so my guess is it really is just an aesthetic difference.
I'm sure this has been asked/answered already, but what are the requirements for the Tournament? Is it a certain number of GC friends who have played SF2014, or who have played in the current tourney, or something else? Thanks in advance for any info.
First off I'd like to thank the developers for such a beautiful game. It's so... well.. pretty. Haha. Love the graphics and sound and as someone pointed out earlier, the effect when you blow up the power plant (for example the one about half or 2/3 of the way through level 3) is pretty awesome. I think the increased difficulty as you complete all objectives in a level is a great replayability feature, especially with the increased star rewards as well. Someone else mentioned that early on level 3 on hard is a good place to grind for stars, which is one of my only to negative thought about this game. First is the timers , which has been beaten to death in only the first 20 pages or so. And second is this; when I am attempting a level for the unscathed objective it's really difficult to tell if I've been hit or not. Now I understand that you can just look at your health, but it always seems like I get hit then pick up a health/repair kit and never notice it. So I was wondering if on the 'slow-mo' screen, when you lift your finger, if the objectives could be displayed and if you have completed, failed or are in progress of. There are quite a few pages here and I'm not sure if anyone has made these suggestions or not. As I am on my phone I haven't gotten a chance to look through all 102 pages. Still, great game guys.
Welcome to the SF 2014 club, Dr69onS6mur6i! I don't think I've heard of those suggestions yet on the forum, interesting ideas... Stocking up on shields and lasers can help you get by the tougher parts and remain untouched. Once you fully upgrade your ship and collect some cards things will get a lot easier. When I first started out, I took the stage goals one at a time and just worked on collecting stars and upgrading. I just enjoyed the game (and still do) so much that it didn't feel like such a bad grind. For now, all I can tell you is use shields when you feel like it's gonna get tough and work on upgrading your main cannon and magnet. You can tell you got hit because it will say "health restored" when you pick up a heart. Of course by that point it's too late for the untouched goal, but at least you'll know you failed. :/ Forgot to mention to buy the star doubler, plane generator, and ads removal IAPs if you haven't already. Makes the game PREMO!!!
Speaking of cards (which is exactly what I was looking for when I realized there was a new post haha) I've gotten 3 different cards... 3 of the first one, 1 of the second (both of which add +1 to my hanger, and 2 of the one that increase the rescue rope length (#17)... Are they randomly spawned or is there something that I can do to trigger them? I've been working on the objectives one at a time as well, for the most part. The unscathed one on stage 3 is the only one i have left for that one. But I buckled down and bought the star doubler so grinding shouldn't be quite as arduous as when I started haha I have read some great tips and strategies from many of the awesome players in this forum so I will work on adding my name to the list of people that hit the stage 7 wall <--- Well i guess that isn't a factor anymore, now i just have to wait for stage 8.. or maybe ill just keep reading and find out that its available haha
