Is stage 7 playable offline once unlocked by enough people reaching it? I have cleared stage 5 now: Looks like the lives regeneration timer is still 60 minutes per life. There's definitely something buggy with the notifications. I think I've received the same notification twice in a row pretty much every time I receive one. (In the same minute.) And now I see in Notification Center the notification for all lives being regenerated, and two minutes later the same notification four times (total of five)!
Level 7 is playable now, once you've completed level 6. If you don't want to wait for planes regeneration, then buy the IAP to reduce it. It's all but impossible to run out of planes when you've bought it, and it's well worth it. Besides, you support the developer so he may earn money and can make other great games for us. The coin doubler IAP is also very much worth it, removing a lot of grinding. I bought those and the Ad remover too. Buying those three IAP's basically makes the game premium, and is unlocking the full potential of this amazing game.
It'll save that it's available and will work offline? It should. (I'll find out as soon as I clear stage 6, but might as well ask.) ...Oh, there it goes. Entering and exiting the options and upgrades screens a few times resulted in it saying I was one of the one pilots to clear the stage, then one of the two pilots, then a message it was coming in the next update (what), then it unlocked and now it works offline.
Several posts on the last two pages tells you that it'll unlock if you go I to options and back out. The latest post is the not just before yours....
When I destroyed boss in level 7. Plane was immediately accelerates and I can't earn all stars. Do You have te same problem?
Yep - I ground away at it for nearly two weeks - still enjoyed it but it was a bit grindy. Picked up all three IAPs today and it really has turned it from being a grind-fest into a little beauty. And I almost couldn't bring myself to type that. Well worth the money.
That's what I did. I put it in airplane mode. Opened the app. Closed the app. Killed the app. Reopened the app and stage 7 was unlocked.
Difficulty growth is dramatic, in 7 level it's just insane. What's up with level design novadays? Just add a horde of roxket planes and a boss with one shot one kill weapon - it so lame. I regret paying for inapps inthis game.
This is such a great game. I've tried a few schmups on iOS before but this is the first one I really enjoyed. The graphics floored me and the level of polish is amazing. IAP is fair. Bought star doubler. Tempted to get plane production speed-up but I'm afraid I'll never put down this game if I do. Upgrade timers never bothered me at all. I just go and play older stages for medals and stars while I wait. Which is what I'm doing now because Stage 7 is just kicking my ass. Need stronger firepower.
I have received 100% stars on Level 7 before. You are right, it is the planes that are tricky. The way I did it was to use a shield when the first 4 show up and then let them all get on screen and use a mega-bomb. Then you have to quickly shoot them all down and collect stars before they fly off. Try killing the bottom ones first.
Regarding complaints about difficulty of level 7...it is a challenge...which is why we are playing it in the first place. For the record, don't expect to get medals on the level unless fully upgraded and you need to farm Level 5 a bit to buy power ups before the start. Also, as I have said before, pick one medal per fly through to achieve to limit frustration. Any others you pick up are a bonus. Later on...you can try for perfect fly-throughs.
I must say I'm really enjoying this game. I've purchased the coin doubler and 2 99cent iap for 5000 stars. This game keeps me coming back daily. My plane is still not upgraded fully and I still have not gotten all the medals for all difficultys. I also love how hard the game is. This is something that I feel a lot of iOS ganes lack. I have no compliants on how the dev implemented IAP's into the game and I hope they are making money. This is by far the most time I've put into a game in a long time.
I read there were IAPs such as a star doubler. Is that right? Am I being blind? I have searched every single screen I can find in the app and cannot see anything that shows stuff to buy.
