I got this game yesterday and have really started playing today, and I absolutely love it. From the very first round I noticed the great graphics of everything from the background to the smiley face on the tomatoes (don't know if I'm just seeing that). Then the background music is nice, not overbearing like some games. I love all of the different burger names. Then the gameplay tops all that, and only 0.99! Trying to collect 16 pickles and 16 onions or trying to collect 9 of each ingredient it's just great. Sky burger is my favorite round, but that top bun seems so easy to add, that some ingredients bounce off if your close, but that top bun latches on if your close at all. Thats a good thing though makes it challenging. Thank you for the great game and keep them coming.
The Wal-Mart mascot appearing in the tomato...it's a sign! Soon people will virtually gather at Sky Burger's virtual HQ to virtually gawk in amazement.
A lot of scoops playing with my girl, that got us ready for skyburger. She is Melissa on the leaderboards. My trick is to move really slow once you get past the 200 dollar mark of course you should have around a 150% tip
While the stacking mechanics are pretty identical, it's a lot more than a mere graphical theme change! The real basic mechanics is simply to fulfill the order at hand. Each order successfully fulfilled means another tougher to make burger order (more and more required ingredients) will follow with more and more money! If the current burger calls for 2 meat patties, 1 onion, 1 lettuce, and 3 tomatoes, your goal is to create exactly that (your tip bonus is increased if you don't add any additional ingredients (in this case either adding pickles or a 4th tomato slice will dink your tip) as well as NOT letting any of the requested ingredients slip past you (if you still need two more meat patties and one just slips past you, you're tip will be dropped a percentage). Your biggest nemesis consistently in this game is the DREADED UPPER BUN! If that upper bun tops your burger before the burger is complete the order is failed. You never really lose in this game, it keeps going as long as you want to play BUT failing an order does have some big consequences all the same. Failing an order could be seen as something similar to getting a vegetable on your giant ice cream creation in Scoops since it means you're back to square one in the game making very basic burgers for very little money. Just to throw in a weird twist, from time to time you'll be invited to make a Sky Burger which is an invite to just stack up the biggest burger you can grabbing every falling ingredient you can and avoid the dreaded Upper Bun as long as possible. This Sky Burger Bonus Round is usually a chance for huge cash but realize, since you can use ANY INGREDIENT for this burger, every item except upper buns that drops past you will lower your tip. Since the game never really ends your rewards come via your Career Statistics which will track the highest number of orders you've successfully completed in a row, the highest earning burger you've made so far, and your current title, and even, if lucky enough, your worldwide ranking in these stats.
Scoops isn't really my thing, so I was a bit skeptical, but decided to give the game a try all the same. The mechanics change really made the difference for me. I've just foced myself to stop after a 1.5 hour session.
ironically, the average play time on the worldwide stats page is 1.54 hours LordGek, you should write game reviews!
