So... I was eating thanksgiving at my aunts. Yeah... I ended up in a corner of a room with my mini playing this for 4 straight hours. It's damn amazing!
I wish there was offline skirmish mode so I can just play without actual people. I know the story is for that but I'd like some randomized bots to play with to train. --- Btw, is anyone else having the problem of the details screen on each level appearing blank and sometimes information appears (usually after the level is beaten) then disappears? The rounds and time spots are always empty as well. I've played the first level 3 times and there's nothing there. Am I doing something wrong? also... none of my achievements will activate. I've obviously turned my general into a demon multiple times through eating and haven't gotten the achievement or any others. ALSO fusion doesn't work for me. If I click on an emblem I own and hit select, nothing happens.
Oh that sounds good to me, I'd love an offline skirmish mode if at all possible. All I ever played were C&C games online or skirmish. Got my fiancée playing this multiplayer with me but she's not always here for that.
There is a offline mode with AI - just go to Multiplayer->Pass and Play. Just create one player and the rest will be AI. We'll look into the other issues, thanks for the feedback! Borut (one of the devs)
Loving the multiplayer, i was playing with my brother and he was destroying me. I had my general and one of the basic unit left. I just walk up to his general and BONK. Right into the water. He was so pissed and and I couldn't stop laughing. Then I beat him again by getting 2 demon archers
Giving this a go at the moment. The polish on this is high quality. Seems like a quality title so far. However, instantly ran into a frustrating start. The first part which is obviously the tutorial, but has you kind of going on a quest to create a bit of a story all the while there's heaps of pop ups to explain stuff and joke around... Well it's one of those tutorials where if you die...then you have to start over again. All the way from the beginning with the quickly getting old dad joke dialogue boxes, right from the start. Yeh that instantly gave me a bit of a throw the phone at the wall moment... Not a fan of tutorials that reset. Also it's a little finicky on an iPhone. Otherwise, it seems very polished so far, but I'm putting it down for a break already after that tutorial reset frustration. Edit: had another crack, wasn't that bad. Past that first stage now. Really you just have to keep your main character away a bit which is what I didn't do.
Yeah there is a fix in the app description. Hoping they will patch it soon though, I don't want to have to set my region format to US everytime I want to play. Other than that I've no complaints, game is great.
We've fixed the crash on startup issue in our 1.0.1 update, which is now awaiting Apple's review. Hopefully it gets through quickly. Also, thank you for the kind words everyone! We put a lot of effort into it so it's wonderful to hear. Ben (Programmer / Designer / Writer)
