Official Selection, PAX 10 Indie Showcase, PAX Prime 2014 9/10 - Pocket Gamer (Pocket Gamer Gold Award) 5/5 - AppSpy 4.5/5 - Touch Arcade 4/5 - 148 Apps 4/5 - Gamezebo 8.5/10 - GameMob ======================================================== You know the old saying, “you can’t take it with you?” Well, we’ve got news for you, my friends, they were WRONG! “Deadbeats” have been taking their riches with them to the afterlife for centuries and it’s the job of the INFERNAL Revenue Service — and its army of skulls — to collect! That’s where you come in. In “Skullduggery!” you’ll play a Semi-Organic Autonomous Skull employed as a collection agent for the IRS. Using the elasticity of your own brain, flick yourself around the fortresses of the afterlife’s biggest deadbeats. - BRAIN POWER: Pull back ANYWHERE on the screen to stretch out your brain! Let go to snap your skull forward like a brainy rubber band. - BULLET TIME: Touch and hold in mid-air to slow down time, change directions, avoid deadly obstacles, and pull off crazy trick shots! - GRAVITATIONAL TRUANCY: Repeatedly jump by aiming again while your skull is mid-flight. - STEALTHINESS: Being small has advantages! Hide in trash cans, chests, and jars. Slip behind surly guards and take them out while their backs are turned! - HEADSHOTS: Take out enemies with a single well-placed fling to the cranium. - HEAD TO HEAD: Play ‘head to head’ against your friends to become the afterlife’s most successful agent. - BUREAUCRACY: Fill out paperwork and reflect on the inherent emptiness of existence! “Skullduggery!” features the endearingly grotesque art stylings of game artist extraordinaire Bill Mudron, inspired by the Max Fleischer animations of the 1930’s, and a quirky, doom-jazzy, bureau-noir soundtrack from industrial musician Michael Arthur Holloway. MORE FEATURES: - NO In App Purchase. Buy the game, play the game. That’s it! - A finely-tuned and deeply-satisfying one-touch control scheme specifically tailored to mobile. - Three distinctly unique and atmospheric worlds with more on the way. - Dreadful puns. - Single Player mode with 24 surreal and pleasantly spooky levels. - Multiplayer “Head to Head” mode with a variety of brain-pounding arenas. - Hidden rooms and secret chests containing treasure and other delights. - Pleasing power-ups and epic boss battles! - Dozens of collectables and secondary objectives for maximum replayability. - Over 20 unique skulls to unlock, including guest celebrity skulls from some of our favorite games. - Universal App - play on your new iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad mini. - Full iCloud support - sync your progress across all your devices. - Compete with Game Center Achievements and Leaderboards. - Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork! =================================================== Hi, We're ClutchPlay Games! I bought her Smash Bros 3DS to make up for last week's massive spending, looks like I'll need to find something else to get her now This looks great, I've been waiting for it for a while now. Absolutely love the visual style. rIcHrAnDoM Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Nov 17, 2008 7,936 30 38 Steelworker/Welder Indiana, USA #4 rIcHrAnDoM, Oct 8, 2014 Hope it's worth the $5 because I'll be diving in head first Qwertz555 Well-Known Member May 22, 2010 2,318 29 48 #5 Qwertz555, Oct 8, 2014 This is an instabuy for me, no doubt ! (Sorry for beeing so negative now, but i'm around too long to foresee this possible scenario) Your price will scare off some bones, no doubt. I really, really wish this works out for you guys, otherwise you gonna cut the price a week later, and this will pi$$ off some more bones (not me, because i see the huge work behind it) You should have made an early adapter price, but again, i hope it pays off. Looking forward and good luck ! rIcHrAnDoM Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Nov 17, 2008 7,936 30 38 Steelworker/Welder Indiana, USA #6 rIcHrAnDoM, Oct 8, 2014 We may get flamed for this, but I have to agree. Been around this scene since the iOS gaming beginnings and, while I will be buying this tonight, I can see sales not being what the devs deserve and project. It's a shame but that's the AppStore. I don't mind paying the asking price to play now, but... when I do get burned by a price drop really soon after buying, I always remember the next time(s) I'm presented with a new game from that dev. That's all speculation though. I'm just excited to be getting this tonight, though when it comes out I'll have about 11 hours of work left Biggavelli Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2011 1,106 0 0 Boston,MA #7 Biggavelli, Oct 8, 2014 This is a must. aconfusedkender Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2012 1,362 122 63 Oil & Gas Kendermore, Ansalon #8 aconfusedkender, Oct 8, 2014 LOL Are we married to the same woman?!?!? They gave it a boney thumbs up and even mentioned that this could be their pick of the week. It plays like David. The controls are perfect! Qwertz555 Well-Known Member May 22, 2010 2,318 29 48 #15 Qwertz555, Oct 9, 2014 Ouch, i never got into those controls and deleted it pretty fast. Well, the download is finished but i'm too tired to fire it up now. My last powerup goes into restarting my phone to be prepared for tomorrow's gaming session. I've already played roughly ten minutes of it and it's a game like no other I've seen. The art is polished and fitting, the sounds are suitable, and the game is extremely unique, has plenty of cool mechanics, and just refreshing overall. It has a good amount of content and it feels complete and like a ton of effort went into it. The game itself is also fun as hell and I'm already getting a kick out of it. coolpepper43 ð® Spam Police ð Aug 31, 2012 4,615 7 38 On the toilet #18 coolpepper43, Oct 9, 2014 Last edited: Oct 9, 2014 The controls are not like David but the gameplay is sort of similar. I guess the controls could be similar if you take out the movement and jumping button controls in David but you kept the fling attack but you can effortlessly aim and activate it anywhere on the screen without putting your thumb in any certain area. . CygnetSeven Well-Known Member Feb 6, 2010 7,596 33 48 #20 CygnetSeven, Oct 9, 2014 Fun game, lots of content, levels are deep with lots of nooks and crannies to explore and I really dig the theme. Don't want to give too much away but there are battles and such that really add a fun element to the game. Plays a bit like Parachute Ninja with a Pizza and Skeleton vibe. Recommended.
