I'm with both of you. I just posted about this on the SAB FB page. I've been playing more than usual and whenever I have a good game I want to go to FB to talk about it. But now once I load the page and read the other posts I instantly realize I have more important things I could be doing and just leave.

I know we often like to blame it on the usual suspects like Zack, Waldo, Soprano or sometimes even Kingpin for stoking the squad-war flames. However, I think it's clear that these periods when FB becomes intolerable have a direct correlation to Shern's activity level. He pops up, starts fights, loves every minute of it for about two weeks, then realizes he's in too deep and suddenly has some super important business to attend to because the world needs him and then he disappears. I just wish the other parties involved would notice this too and just ignore it because it always ends in the same manner. Regular users politely tease rival squad members with sometimes smile-inducing photoshopped images Less-intelligent users think this is a propaganda war that can be won with quantity over quality and spam the page with stupid photos every three minutes At some inevitable point a particular image will be posted that causes an extremely negative visceral response to a rival user and random sh!tstorm ensues Facepalm-inducing "debates" arise over the difference between humor/satire vs. malicious bullying and then the same users who were involved in the exact same squad-war rhetoric feign outrage and pretend they were always above it Squad elders or neutral outsiders finally point out how stupid everyone is being Shern suddenly has another baby and leaves Everything goes back to normal about 12 hours later One month later Shern reappears Repeat process outlined above

I would speak up about behavior but they never listen. The page should be kept PG-13, but now it's rated R. Maybe even NC-17. Most of the reason why I barely post there is cause they'll either treat it as a joke or a challenge. Especially SAW, alot of the annoying people are in SAW. No offense to those who feel it is them.
