@Chonch, you've rickrolled me again! I think your plan is to poison the well, so to speak, here at TA, so we'll all be forced over to FB. Your Rick Astley propaganda may just work! :D

Zoinks! Insanity! What's up!? GG! Good to have you here!

I could have used a little MOB backing this afternoon. I was in a room with littlemeck, meckmom, [SC] JJ, [SAB] SkyPanther, Chainsaw, and the body count was pretty high. GG! to All!

Edit: Oh, sorry for taking off also; my battery died.

    Keeping your Distance

I remember a professor I had in an economics/game theory class using the samurai of feudal Japan as an example to argue some theory I can't remember now. He noted that, contrary to popular depictions, if two samurai from warring factions knew of each others' proximity, especially if they were equally matched, they would often go to considerable lengths in avoiding each other.

This was actually a very practical solution. On the one end you have the bushido code which demands the two battle should they ever meet, and on the other end, you have the considerable skill of both warriors, where being better may not be enough to keep you alive (fights would often end with both men dying).

The only reason I bring this up, is I often find myself flying in a room with other vets, sometimes even from other squads, and I notice we can spend considerable time in the same room without ever fighting. At least for me, it's about boosting my kdr, not dropping it. Anyway, I just thought it was interesting. Here's to brief uneasy truces! GG!

Hehe... that makes perfect sense to me, if I were a samurai. This is a game, you die, you come right back :) The best part of this game to me are interacting with the people who play it. If you avoid going up against them, whatcha got to talk about? See, we beat the snot out of each other, then we come here or on Facebook and laugh about it later... what could be better? I have made some really cool online buddies doing this. I am honestly glad that I am nowhere near being the top ace of this game... the challenge of going up against them and getting my ass kicked I find exhilarating! And with noobs, if that's all that's around, I will go after them. I won't single them out, but how can they improve if they can't go up against better players. I treat that as a game of how many can I frag in a given second. By not singling one out of the crowd I am not picking on them... fair play :) Of course I have never worried about my KDR and I don't especially now, since it is completely meaningless, but I play purely to have a good time with the likes of you buddy :) Oh and I know I haven't been around lately, that's not due to boredom of the game, it's just that real life is kicking my ass harder than Sola in an H2H right now.... I don't have any time for myself these days it would seem..

I feel the same way about everything you've said. I don't even know what my kdr is. What I was talking about was more about having a choice in the type of game you want to play.

For instance, I loved playing against Vanessa . . . for the most part. She had this weird vendetta thing, where once I killed her, I knew wherever she spawned, she was heading right back towards me. I remember a few times even watching her speed past other planes just to do so  !!! That would usually lead to a long game of tit for tat. Now, that's only one way to play the game and one type of challenge. Sometimes I want more choice.

The particular event I was originally referring to was with a pilot with whom the day before I had a running feud, where most of our kills were inflicted on each other. The next day though when I saw him again, my mood was different, and I didn't want that type of game. What I thought was funny was apparently by his flying he felt the same way. Altogether this just reminded me of some of game theory stuff I learned in school but I digress.

But I agree: "to hell with your kdr, and have fun!!!"

Thank you! That is a great honor! As a sign of respect to the 2ch clan who has many great pilots. I painted my mustang II like a z3.

Yeah, that's me, t(>!<t). It's supposed to a 2ch emoticon for flipping someone the double bird, but I think Black Sheep said it looked like Cartman, NO KITTY! THIS MY POT PIE!", which I thought was funnier.

I don't know about the notices. I'm about to make the move over to fb anyway. What's your call sign? Stallion's a pretty good flyer. I don't think I was being too harsh :D What's the rules with OGCS weekend? Are we still honoring our squads?

Yes, still trying to honor squads...just enjoying a flashback weekend....Reminds me why I switched my CS though...while "WidoW MakeR" in itself is a cool name it's too damn big and catches the eye of every freakin' player in the room and makes me a target! Did you watch the vids?

    Zero-3

:confused:Has anyone noticed a difference in the Z-3 armor mostly when going H2H? I also have both my Icons set at the same settings and they still have a small difference flying the same plane. Has anyone else noticed a difference between the two? Thanks
