GG! AngryBird, Heidi, Lemariont, and some others whose names are escaping me right now. I think every ace in that room gave up fighting and started flying through the town. I even had one fly by past Heidi down Main Street!! That was a blast! A word of warning to anyone trying this in the Islands room town: there's an invisible wall next to one of the buildings. I flew into it and the guy chasing me, "MEXICO", hit it as well.

GG m@yh3m... That was me in civilian airplane. I was just in this other rocket room, and I've shot 3 rockets at this mossy and nothing happens to him. But I got shot down by others. Now that I see your post, it all make sense. I've probably been shooting rubber bullets all this time..

every time i click on the comment button in FB, I get the message that I need to verify my account with cell phone or credit card. I can probably add new comment, but can't comment on other people's post. perhaps there's a limit on the number of comments you can post?
Actually, I wonder if this just isn't the normal minus Shern. I was looking over the past few months, and holy shit!, that guy posted a lot! He still does on fb. As for fb, I'm still resisting getting an account. I think they play fast and loose with your info selling it to the highest bidder, and there's something I just don't like about it on principle. It's getting bad though, some of my friends are basically insisting on sitting me down and helping me set up an account There's something about the threads I don't like on fb either. Here, when you post or reply to someone, it shows up in-line so it's like you're talking to the whole community. On fb, since the threads collapse, there's a bunch of separate conversations going on and they're generally short, so it's like everything's constantly getting sucked down the memory hole. Another thing that I think occurs with the collapsed threads & messages is it puts priority on short one or two liner responses. Look over some of the longer responses here on TA; they'll generally be the more thoughtful. Here, a dumb post would get crowded out by more thoughtful ones and the whole community could weigh in (see [SUK] vs. Shern on TA), while on fb, everyone, aces & dweebs alike are on equal footing, and people can talk shit in threads that no-one else sees. I think that's why you get so many flare-ups on fb with MOB vs. SAB or SAW, or Shern vs. Westfall is because the whole set-up just dumbs things down. I'm probably just bitchin because I don't want to change. Anyway, the saloon's always open, the drinks are warm, and the women cold, and remember: liquor in the front and poker in the rear. t(>!<t)
I get exactly what your saying Mayham. I often feel like killing the FB acct and returning here to home. Maybe it would be a good idea for some of us to start coming back here for peace and quiet. This as a primary, FB as a secondary.
When I first joined TA, there are about 40 posts per day. If Shern posts 20 messages, there should be another 20 postings. lately, it's about single digit postings. I still check this forum and will continue for a while, so... bring me a cold one then.. I mean... beer...
If there's no Shern, SoG thread in TA may probably remain as an inactive thread from the beginning like other games thread in TA. But SoG FB will still be active without Shern because SGN has been publicizing SOG FB in its websites and sometimes in the advertisement link in SoG app. It all started in the FAST era. I fell in love with FAST and went about searching for forums that discussed on FAST. I found several sites all almost equally cold. Somehow I just decided to pick Touch Arcade as the revenue to express myself regarding the game. Jonathan was in TA before I did and both of us triggered active conversation about FAST. Soon this attracts Sierra, Balye (wrong spelling). And then more players joined TA. It's a snowballing effect. When a forum gets bigger and bigger, other forums will become colder. Everyone wants to go to the forum that draws most number of players. Eventually, TA becomes the only active forum site for FAST. Then SoG enters the gamining arena. And we all migrated from FAST to SoG and the SoG expanded from there. I am the one who managed to bring in 2ch to TA. I also got Keebler and NeLge into TA by using Toucharcade as my callsign. And when I stop all my postings in TA, it really becoming like a ghost town, so it seems.
