There are three of us that share an office here at work and since the company provides us with iPhones, we all three play. I think we may have tried bluetooth at first, but don't remember for sure. Last November we were in Vegas for a convention and myself and one of the other guys were playing FAST on our personal phones (the company had not switched to iPhones yet) over bluetooth on the plane and during periods of downtime (provided we were sober) and I think that was what hooked Ace. Not too long after our return, we found Skies of Glory and our lunch breaks were forever changed.
SoG has made any other gaming app or waste-of-time app on my phone useless so I deleted them...there is no other game....Admitting you have a problem is first step to recovery....right????
Hey man, the only problem I have is [MOB]Kingpin shooting me down. That was a fun room! And Shern, you had me laughing so hard by killing me EVERY TIME I bailed out, that I was starting to draw a crowd. I lost track of the times I said out loud "Dammit Shern, you did it again!"
you weren't doing so bad yourself! yes was a fun room...I liked the challenge of trying to catch up to you coming in late...I almost got there..<sigh>...problem with having [MOB]Kingpin name now is that everyone wants to shoot you down and shoot you down yesterday! Lol...try putting "Keebler" as your tag and see what happens...no, don't, but you would get the point...killing alot of people over and over again makes alot of enemies! LOL GG!
Thanks buddy that is a compliment coming from you. You know though, I have come to the realization that its not so much getting shot down, as it is who's doing the shooting down. In that room I never once got bent out of shape and felt like I wanted to administer some payback after getting just blown the hell up. Sure, I wanted to get my kills...And sure, I really did not want to die doing it, but there was just something about the feel of that room (and a couple of others today) that kept me smiling and having a good time. Camaraderie among killers? OK, maybe make believe, pretend killers.
GG Pirhanna, techna etc. I was playing as spooky earlier. When you left the room and returned in the Z3 I knew i was in for it. Fun Game!!
oh, I totally agree! Whole reason for me being on a squad at all....and, YES, playing with skilled pilots that you know takes the game to a totally different level..you know the kind of people you are playing and NO, it is very hard to get mad when you get killed by those you consider the best in the game!
Ahhhh, spooky...you are very tough indeed!...How long you been playing?? I know we ran into eachother later in Mtn Map...I "arghed" alot in that game...I was killed by rocket before screen ever showed up...I came in to see "so and so killed [MOB]Kingpin...then very bad lag I couldn't do sh&t...very frustrating and I should know to just leave then, but my competitiveness always gets the better of me...oh well....very GG's!!
GG Smokin' Joe! Between you and SnDmeck, I had no chance! I had my brand new P-38 out for it's maiden voyage tonight. I think it will take a little getting used to. That was fun flying with you.
Same to ya, Corleone! That was your first time out in the P-38? As I recall, I had a hell of a time even getting a shot at you, h2h. GG!
Hey Pirhanna, Orion is right i have been around since the beginning. I used to play as SAB IAF ACE and managed to get to 22nd place with a KDR of ~6-1 at my peak. Since i got the iphone 4 and been pushed back to 2790370th place there is no point for me to commit so many hours a day to the game so I play much less these days. Anyways, see you in the skies.
