I saw a post by Shern in the FB forum complaining about folks entering a "Rockets Only" room he had set up and it got me wondering (again) about what happens when we use the "Quick Match" option. Which I do almost exclusively. I always thought it was SoG setting up games randomly. But is it using whatever games have been set up by players as well? I don't want to be the guy flying around in a Z3 in the "No Z3" room, or the one shooting machines guns and cannons in the "Rockets Only" room although that could be fun. If it's true that SoG will use whatever rooms are set up, wouldn't it be a good idea that players looking to be exclusive use the "Private Room" option?
The private room solution is quickly becoming more feasible. I think alot of folks forget about the quick match option. They just assume theyre being purpously invaded.
Ah, so SoG does use the set up games for Quick Match. Well, I try to pay attention but it can be fairly impossible to pick up on a room "theme." It seems that everyones trying rockets now, and they're using MGs too. And if you're the second Z3 in the no Z3 room, fugitaboudit.
I never use quick match, mostly because I never want DTB games. A quick look at the list helps you find the kind of game you want and a better chance of people you want to play. E.G. Shern makes the RAF games, HYN rooms are regularly made by me, Austin and SUK, Kill Nelge, MOB rooms are good, etc. Quick Match is pretty useless as far as I am concerned. Bukki
Yeah, I realized after I posted that I could at least check the rooms in action and see what's up. And, so doing, also realized it wasn't much of a step to pick one. Ironically, I had avoided that because I didn't want to be crashing a party. Thanks for the tips on room selection. Better idea. And I really can't abide DTB. Also, how'd I get the winky thing in the title bar?!

I think any room labeled "Quick Room" is SOG set up room in response to quick match selection when no rooms are available.
GG earlier today Shern. I had a call in the middle and it took me out of the game! it was a business call so I had to take it. doh!
