If you go into a room that says "Rocket", you'll probably see several rockets every second. Actually we are not cowards. In these Rocket rooms, we have to set up a collision course with the target and slam the rocket into the windshield. A lot of fun. Edit: all this is done at close distance. You'll sometimes fly thru the fireball if you don't hit the exploding plane and crash instead.

Also, most of us rarely check this page anymore. We have all gone on to Facebook. Well that's a shame. Of course folks keep saying that, but it looks to me like this page is still relevant, and I'm glad to see it. TA still has the vets. If I want to know what some silly kid has to say about anything at all, FB will do. Yes,GG's last night. Not many vets play during the odd times I do (except Nelge but all I do is splat on his windshield and annoy him interrupting his killing sprees to clear his view I was having mucho fun.

Right on, Rebel. Speaking of Aces, I just ran into Nice Shot Austin a little while ago. We started the game at the same time but when I left I had 8 kills and he had something like 28. Most of them me I fear. I've heard you all talking about him but, damn... GG!
Swordfish/Austin is really good and seems to have taken it to a new level lately. He was just creaming me earlier this week in dogfights.
Hi Joe. Was he in his signature P-38? I honestly have no idea how he gets the 'lower' grade planes to perform so well. I guess it just goes to show it's the pilots skills that matter most.....the way it should be.
Yep, flying the P-38 like it was a Z3. The fact that I was flying a Z3 did me no good at all. Well, I guess he could've possibly killed me even more often if I were in the Mustang...
I certainly did not intend to include myself in the "vets and aces" group. I'm lucky to get to rub elbows with them here and maybe pick off one of their smokers in game
i beat all the campaign missions in war games and battle of brittian on full difficulty, half the dof fights, but im still one of the worst players online
Which plane do you use when playing in campaign mode? did you change the difficulty setting? Are you using the Battle of Britain edition? If you are, one the first plane that you unlock is Fockewulf-II which is a pretty good comparing to the P40. But there are a lot of players that has been playing for a long time to develop their own tactic. So be patient and practice a lot... Also go into option->help and read the flight manual. If you need some additional reading material, you may also want to start reading from page 1. You may find some useful information. Oh! welcome to the forum, iPodChallenger.
