Yeah I always have a blast, no pun intended when your around in a game! Hopefully I will see you around at some point this week, but I will be having the week from hell at work (potentially my worst one in the 10 years I have been there) so if you don't see me around much that's why.
Finally... back in the forum again.. I think I've mistakenly clicked on "Display Mode" button, and I've been getting server error whenever I refresh the page... Just found a way to come back to the normal viewing mode. And Yay... I can see... now that I am out of the top 10, I can see rank 12 to 15, and I can change my callsign so that only few people knows. I am sure my rank will continue to drop until SGN fix the android issue, which should be an easy fix. All they have to do is to have a correction flag in their database server and run the code on the android version of the game to divide the correct multiplier and set the correction flag so that the code won't do another correction. IMHO.

Good to see that I was wrong about this place dying . I haven't played in over two weeks and decided to check in after something reminded me of Thomas. I don't know if you bought the Cisco Valet that we had talked about a few months back but an hour ago I got out of my car in the parking lot of my building and must have been about 200-250 ft. from my 4th floor apartment when my iPod gave me a push notification about Facebook. It only had one bar but I was still really impressed with the range. Now if only wireless could travel through the interior walls of the building and give me a signal by the pool I'd be in heaven .

Hi Thomas, I have a friend signed up for facebook. One time he wasn't careful and added an unknown friend. Later he received a lot of junk ads. I've also heard some security/privacy issues. This is why I haven't sign up. Perhaps if everybody leaves TA then I'll have no choice but to get assimilated into facebook.
I've also been practicing my rocket skill as iPhone so no one will recognize me. . I've found that not all rockets are build equal. It takes more rockets on p40 to kill another plane or base. I think the fire power equation also applies to the rockets.
It, is good to see you again w00per! Most of us have created SoG only FB accounts that are seperate from our regular accounts. Orion is the newest to do so, he has only 6 friends and that's sad.
Interesting. I've wondered about the plane's firepower as well. And is this written about or has anyone else noticed there being two types of hits: direct and proximity?
Oh yeah that's true. Somewhere in here an old 2ch fellow named Cometti figured out all the firepower and armor values of each plane. Here it is, took me a while to find it. http://cometti.jp/sog_test/100320/ http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=944258#post944258 EDIT: These tests reveled a problem with the armor equation, which was then fixed by the game dev. I don't think he ever fixed it in the single player skirmish mode though, so things get interesting when you play that mode with planes with very weak armor. Basically your plane assumed the armor power of whatever was shooting at you and visa versa. So if you were shooting at a p-38 with say a p-40... well it was interesting. And we unknowingly played that way for a long time too!

Chonch, no I did not get it yet! I actually went to Best Buy to buy one and ended up with an iPad and a 46" Samsung LCD. It would of been alot cheaper just to get the Cisco! I do have to get one though because my netgear has been dropping signal alot lately for no apparent reason. Next week maybe since I am going to be busy for the remainder of this. But then again, who knows? Might end up with a new washer and dryer instead!
