Good to see you around Lav//erde! hope you're able to play more. I don't think gambler is any of those folks. i always check the top 10 board before I go in and NeLge pretty much sticks to Ne4ge now that he's upgraded.
Well I got my Droid X in and proceeded to install SoG on it. Wow! It's a totally different experience. The graphics are a bit different and a lot nicer is the first thing I noticed. Can only see top 10 in the highscores, Higher resolution device means (and just like running higher resolutions on a computer) Things are smaller. The background is nice and big but all the controls and gauges and the radar is smaller. It's almost impossible to make out the other guys names as they are so tiny I need a magnifying glass to make them out. So no flying around with my SAB tag on. The controls are much more responsive.. and I mean much more. Cranking it all the way up and you wobble around everywhere. Best to keep those at 50%. I have trouble saying "GG" and anything else as the Chat wheel is so small, I can't accurately get my finger where I want it to be. The training mode made me do a lot more "training". It doesn't stop at shooting down the balloons, after that you have to blow up a bunch of ground targets, then you have to take out moving ground targets, and then finally you have to fight a plane. Completing the tutorial and winning mission #1 doesn't unlock a thing. So I am still stuck with the p-40 ( though it really seems to maneuver like a beast in this version due to the controls being much more responsive. All in all, the game is a lot more zippy on the Droid X, with better response, but I am having to learn how to fly all over again. The graphics are so high rez they are tiny. I wish they could make them bigger somehow. So far I think SoG is so much easier to play on my ipod, but it I do manage to adjust to it, I think I could actually enjoy playing the Droid version more. We'll see.
interesting. keep us posted and having fun. I think i had a similar experience. I dloaded "Chopper 2" = just released yesterday. I loved the original. So i play a few missions - probably 25 mins worth. Then I got back to SOG. OMG! what a difference b/c Ch2 is side to side and of course SOG is all over the place. It felt so weird....like I was drunk or something. I'm flying as "go 2 SOG Facebook" for the time being. I'm interested to know how many ppl can get signed up.

Sola! GG today, I was going to write on here to say I enjoyed it-I didn't realise I was warping around though sorry about that. I thought I had good connection and know how annoying it is when fighting DDF! Were you playing as 'AZ' first?? If not there is a vaery dangerous new name about! Also Sally/tom, GG's the last couple of days when I've seen you, I usually go back and get my mustang but today stuck with z3, I am a big fan of Z3 games when Sola/Origami are about, I still think those races are the best this game has to offer! As well as when skyfox/casanova comes in, who I havn't seen in a while but who is that??
So I'm thinking about getting this game but would like to know a few things first. i know that it's free so I can try it but what about the features? How has this game changed since it was released in terms of updates? How long is the campaign? How fun is it or is it repetitve? Are the controlse awkward?
It's the best game I know. It's repetitive fun. So because it's free, you can just download it and try playing and then you will find everything by yourself. further questions can you ask in Facebook on the skies of Glory page. All people are there... welcome in the skies
