K, I have to admit it. I droped my RES tag for a game and jumped in one of rockets only rooms with my own rockets. Wow that was fun, Sola was tearing Up the place! I was only able to get 4 kills before I left with my tail between my legs but it was a blast. I was laughing the entire time. I agree with what was said before in the thread, if it's one of the high ranking people throwing rockets for to make it interesting then great IMO. It was a good time.

Yes indeed...Was going rounds with Sola and Skid Row today and held my own against them..Sola is very powerful....Who is skid row...does he visit these forums...is it an alter ego for someone here?? How do Sola and Skid Row communicate??
GG! It was a lot of fun in rocketers room! When a rocket is successful, I make a fuss. I die a lot after using a rocket. but Rocket seems to be a drug. Thank you!

Sola, Chitose GG! That was a lot of fun! Sola, I have no idea how you kept getting us with rockets like that! Wow!!! I tried using them the other day and couldn't hit anything it seems! Nice touch on getting me in the bail out state and then chaising me down with the MG's BTW That made me laugh!

Rocket Burrito?? Lol! This name crack me up. And his impressive evasive maneuvers in his Z2 that's impossible to be hit but ended crash on mountain also crack me up! Till now I'm still tickled.
Nope, not me. I only throw rockets when i"m in a rockets only room like sola creates. And then only if it has people I know who are throwing rockets also. I still keep my name but drop the RES.
I'm thinking Burrito maybe. Not accusing but a maybe lol. That was a GG just then, that Luke kiddy is pretty nifty in his P40, plus a special guest appearance by Nailgunner to round things off. Don't know the other pilot but pretty good too. SnMDeck was in there earlier. I did a fly by to see where he stood, but he shot at i so added him to the FFA list. He was leading but i think he lost connection only to return for a short while.
to be honest: a long distance shot is always shooting randomly It's like billard... (I'm not good in it..) but sometimes you get a nice shot which didn't work as planned, but it worked...
It's great GG sola... It is showing how good you are... In one of these room I didn't make one kill and you got me several times. A lot of excellent pilots were rocketing lately. It's a complete different game if everybody has rockets. It has much more style than shooting thousands of bullets. I single strike and it must be the right one or you are dead. It has a touch of samurai... Lately in the rocket room: I need to get pics of these rocket fights..
It's just more elegant with rockets.. Sola and skid row are good enough to only use one single strike. For this a rocket is perfect and has a huge theatralic effect. I suppose noobs use rockets at the beginning.. then they change to cannon because the don't have any chance against a good double MG pilot. And if they get really good, the change back to rockets, because now they can do it.
Since the planes were all $.99 I decided to get the Yak-3-II and take it for a spin. I had to buy it through the SoG Free version so I set the pilot up as iBob to keep the two games separated. Anyway, I went flying around and had a few games with some regular folks (and iBob unlocked the 25 multiplayer kills achievement!). The 3-II is a good plane, had fun but hadn't run into any Top Guns. So I switched to the Z3 and went back in as Smokin'Joe and immediately ran into Mayhem and Kingpin and a bunch of other go getters and the tempo went way up. Seriously. Mayhem shot me down 3 times before I could even get the throttle open! Flew redlined most of the game. I finished in the middle of that pack but really did learn a thing or two. I think I got better at getting turned around faster, for one thing. But not with anything like the control I'm seeing from the Top Guns. Need to do more of that. GG!
I think it was my room... "rocketeers only" I thought I will create a own room, so I don't disturb other players with the "bad" rockets. I find out it's nicer to kill noobs with the rocket, because with double MG it's just unfair, even with a no zero* plane.
