It is apparent after today that my dogfighting skills have a long ways to go. Starting playing alot more rooms with some of the veterans has shown how much practice I need. So you guys keep pickin me off. I need all the practice I can get. And dont get too mad if I crash alot. I'm not trying to get full armor up again, just trying to get some better maneuvering down. I know the guys in the [RES] room had to be irritated. Sorry to those guys.
Anytime you want to team up and carry the same flag you let me know...we'll get blwnshitup onboard as well...i'll fly with you...don't be so hard on yourself...

working in the slower machines will make you an ace in the Z3...two days ago I couldn't even see cassanova on my screen...all i saw was bail out and then i was dead....tonight in yak 3-I i beat was 1/3 with him on kills....later on in my Z3 I was 1/1 1/2....i say half because there were several we both bailed at same time!
RES and xZ3 [RES] and [xZ3]: This will be xZ3 rules of engagement to RES Z3: xZ3 will regard RES Z3 as friendly by default until RES start to shoot down xZ3 without sending an Ouch! message. So xZ3 will regard RES Z3 as target in the game if these 2 events occurred: 1) RES shoot down xZ3 and no Ouch! message to signal unintentional shooting. 2) RES shoot down xZ3 with Ouch! message more than 2 times. The above apply also to other RES planes. xZ3 please feedback if this is OK.
Sounds good to me. Happened this morning. Dropped into a game with snowhawk(?) and accidentally fired a couple till I saw the name. Then it was hands off. Didn't "ouch" though... Next time I'll know better

i created a room this morning called "casanvatoucharcade" in trying to draw that pilot here. but, I must say, I was royally ticked this morning when a Yak 3 came into the game called : SOG on facebook or something that like. all they did was hit every comm button so the screen was filled with messages, then they left. i understand the intention, but don't pull that crap again whoever you are. quite annoying when in the midst of a very fun FFA game. It was distracting to see those messages, even though they didn't last long. i don't mind if you play the game to make kills and the messages come up, but don't purposefully pimp the FB site just for the fun of it. and speaking of FB, I think it's great to have that site, but for me personally, the layout completely sucks compared to Touch Aracade. I find it harder to follow threads b/c it's shorter in width than here and it's easier to search for stuff here as well. GG Sola! That was fun having you in that room. Too bad you hadn't stayed b/c Casanova came in right after. I would have loved to see you 2 dogfight GG also to Rebel and Phoenix. Rebel, I laughed after you arrgh'd after my multiple arrgghs after that rocketer hit me. Man I hate those planes! rockets take no talent!!!!!! I had my revenge on that pilot of course
yeah FB sucks for layout but it's sometimes the stopping point before they come here. I missed that SoG Facebook thingy in the morning as i usually do it in the afternoon. But seeing as he infuriated you, i best not act like my imposter and he fires rockets! I usually stick around for a few shots but suffering from atrocious sleeping patterns at mo. 4-5hrs p/d and if i'm lucky 8 once per weekend. its driving me nuts. Dr's appoitment calls
Yep I only usually go to the facebook page to talk with the developers. I don't care much for it either.
I just wanted to chime in about this; which has probably been discussed to death but: I used Rockets back in my earlier days when I first started this game and switched to the Corsair II from the P40. The way I used them was a blend of trigonomety and quick triangulation. May seem silly, but it wasn't luck for me to determine someone's speed and direction especially if they were in a spiral or if I lost them in a dive/climb. Don't get me wrong I hate Rocketeers with a passion. But I wouldn't dismiss them as no skill or talent. Some are just lucky hacks but there are some that are cold calculating scoundrels as I used to be. I could project even what some aces were going to do before sending a rocket ahead of them as a friendly greeting. I could even tag folks in a close proximity dog fight and fur ball. But I think Shern or Orion said it best that when you get hit by a rocketeer it just means you did something wrong and learn from it. Or they could be that good, plain and simple. On the flip side my KDR has gone up dramatically since abandoning rockets. Anyhoo, I don't care what people use cause I'm killing you anyways. Just my two cents. And with inflation during this recession it may not even be worth that.
Speaking of rockets i was just in a FFA with a few p40's, FW's, a mozzie (using MGs) and a Z3 called Krispy using rockets. Everyone using rockets bar the moz. After driving them all off bar a p40 and krispy. I slowed down to get the P40 and Krispy slammed me with a rocket head on (didn't see that coming as i just downed him). I thought right yer bugger and timed my bailout spot on. Krispy killed (BUMCRACK) Krispy crashed Then whacked him with a OWNED. LOL.
another tactic i find, lure them into the clouds so they lag. stay out and get em that way. Avid, i got a few dub reggae versions of Dr Who theme if u want them? UPDATE: Skid Row is ranking 129!, Israel 128, Jerome 63 France 127, ummm errr just some idiot at 126, and a few symbols ahead.
