I'd have to agree that a FFA with a partner can be exceptionally fun. The most memberable FFA games I have played have been in cahoots with Vanessa, Swordfish or SUK. Picking someone off your partners tail is rather satisfying but you still have more targets than the TP. Bukki

untitled I got some good kills on Bella today, but cassanova tore me up. That is, what skid row left for him. I had the misfortune of running into skid row a few times yesterday. Talk about lowering your KDR! I'd like to say I at least learned something but I hardly ever saw him again after the initial pass. The few that I survived that is. GG! That's one thing I notice when I'm up against a really good pilot, aside from the fast tight turns, I just lose sight of them. Which I'm sure has something to do with the fast tight turns. I commonly make the mistake of slowing down to turn inside of them but they're usually long gone, made some other move all together. I've tried using the rotating view to see what they're doing but about that time they've already got me lined up for the kill. And where do they get the magic bullets? You know the ones that don't make any sound and kill you almost instantly.

There has been an incease in magic bullets lately. Yesterday I repeatedly when from full health to bail out instantly and with no sounds - WTF? Also lots more crashing of the game. And in about a third of the games I played I would be just flying along happily then bam! I get the message "Bukki crashed" out of nowhere. Very aggravating!
Good thing Suk is not in the game with you otherwise you would start seeing player by the name of Kamikazibukki or Bukki crash or Bukki cheat or smtg like that.
Actually, now that you mention it, screwy things have been happening lately. The strangest of which was to see a message saying "x killed Rudel" while I was still happily flying on my merry way. I thought the news of my death to be greatly exaggerated. Anyone else encounter that? Does it count on the server? Is it due to lag?
Strange Things Ive noticed a few oddities as well. I just saw a FFA room with the kill limit set to 219 then I saw another set to 132. Stranger than that is one room I entered had a player permanently bonded to the ocean while the game was still in play. Very weird.
I played with him a lot last night and he's very good and definitely one of the most aggressive players I've faced recently. Every time he'd spawn I'd search for him and when he'd finally come into view he'd be flying right in my face with both guns tearing me apart. Every single time. I can certainly respect that! The KDR requirement seems antiquated since the most recent update and the fact that most of us only want to play against the best competition. Maintaining a 4:1 KDR is almost impossible if you only play the best. NeLge is the best player IMO and now that he's rerolled I wonder if his KDR is 4:1 or better. He doesn't seem to have any interest in killing noobs so would that mean that NeLge's request would be denied? (I know he's technically already SAB) When SUK announced that he'd been flying as Validas it made me raise a hypocrisy-detecting eyebrow. I played against a [LAS]Validas one day in four different rooms about a week ago and the player was constantly crashing when smoking pretty bad. They would also disappear when they bailed out so that the yellow marker would no longer show you where they were located and I couldn't find them to take the easy kill. I eventually left because playing them was a complete waste of time. Maybe it's time for SUK to explain himself.
I remember that room. It was the "Love [KDR] Chonch" room someone was creating that ran for over 4 hours a few days ago. The room never died because of that player "Sky Fly" flying underwater. BTW: What part of Texas are you from? I evacuated to Austin a few years ago for Hurricane Gustav (a "hurrication" if you will) and had the time of my life. The girlfriend also has family in Houston so we visit from time to time.

Ty to Shern, Orion and Chonch for the good words. I had a blast playing yesterday. Gonna get back in there today. I also had quite a few more crashes in the game. I'm wondering if upgrading to 4.0 then downgrading back to 3.1.3 had anything to do with it. Never seemed to happen before that.
I also noticed a couple of rooms with players that shimmered on and off in one place and all had large negative scores like -33 or more.
I have experienced the same thing and have come to the conclusion that with more people playing that what is happening is the game "spawning" someone just where you happen to be. The result is the "Live" player crashes while the "Spawned" player flys on...What do you think?
This actually happened to me. I believe what is happening here is that when you leave a game and the server doesn't register it and you enter another game that the server can't "place" you correctly in the area you are...It totally pissed me off because i would leave and enter another room and immediately i would start dying repeatedly. And when I say repeatedly I mean i registered a negative kdr of 10 within a few seconds. Grrrrrr Of course I'm the stupid @#%$$ that had to try to go into 5 rooms before I gave up...<-----moron.
Nah, not me. Haven't been on for about 12hrs. One of the ear pieces in my headphones has bust. Not the expensive big ones, but a small pair. Now i got 18 characters expect little less from now on. Might go my blogging name for a bit, well bit shortened anyway.
