Guys, if you see any player with the name that has Shern or Snowhawk in it and is flying in Z3, he's an imposter and won't be me. I will never use Z3 as I do not need it to dominate the game. And when i do use Z3 or Yak3, i'll be using different name. And he wouldn't dare to use anything less than Z3 because he's just not good in the game.
Just had one of those game in TP where the enemy have superior planes and i got P40's. Needless to say my team left me. Tho the enemy weren't vets. But still in the open it was tough. Luckily it was the mountains as i took them on at low level, twisting round canyons, seperating them before killing them. They had me a few times although my kill score was double the highest of theirs. 1 against 4. Good thing about it too, was i could smoke them, flip off, smoke another and there was nobody to claim my kills. Reinforcements arrived after i hit the 20, then they dispersed and new pilots joined. I enjoyed that.
Suk, dude don't you think you might be taking this thing with Shern a bit to far buddy? Listen I tend to believe Shern that he had an impostor who was crashing over and over again. People like to impersonate people in this game, it happens. I don't understand why don't you just give him the benefit of doubt. Everyone deserves the benefit of doubt IMHOP. That was a GG we just had, I have to hand it to you, but seriously if you have an issue with Shern please take it up with him by sending him a PM. Please keep it out of the forums and out of the game. This is just a game after all... EDIT: Nothing against you at all, I just hope that we could all agree to try and get along here. That's what makes this a great place and a great game more than anything after all...
Agreed with Orion-SUK, it is just a game, don't take it too seriously. Shern will never do something like that, it is probably just an imposter. Take it easy, relax, breathe some fresh air, enjoy life, then shake hands with Shern maybe? Or if you are still angry, may I interest you in a vuvuzela to blow in Shern's face? ======<)
I have no issue with Shern except that he "demands" an apology!? I love Shern! Look Sherny.. I respect Orion as a pilot and I will formally apologize to you...someday, but I think you need to take SOG a little less seriously and if you think I damaged your honor...its just a game. After all, if it's just a game, why don't you leave the symbol pilots, kamikazes, rocketeers and head on colliders alone and leave your comments about them out of the forum as well? SUK, you must understand, everyone says rather dumb things in heated arguments-Even I did, but not here Shern must have been quite surprised at your angry post, and he also thinks very lowly of deliberate crashers. I must say your emoticons were a little inapproriately used and you jumped to a conclusion too soon. What you should have done was to ask Shern about if he crashed or not and think a bit before writing an angry post. Why don't you guys go on a Carribean cruise together and relax? Gg Sally. On the 2nd game (tp), I left after 2kills so i can even out at 40200. That awesome FFA game crashed after one of us hit the 12 kill limit so I don't know if my kills will count I played 2 more short games before I hit my mark. I'm going to the apple store in 1 hour and if they give me a new iPhone, then im back at a big fat zero (unless sgn can tie my cutter udid to the née phone). I do agree with you that sometimes the comments especially those about the rocketeers can get a bit out of hand sometimes. Those folks are usually just noobs and don't realize it's bad tactics. Personally they don't bother me at all as I kinda like all the explosions and general chaos they bring. I would like a map that had random cannon fodder that the plains had to avoid... that would be cool I think I don't think however this anti zero III thing was meant as anything bad, but has evolved more just a game within a game. Now we have some players playing the role of "The galactic empire" after all It started as a challenge to the vets to try other planes other than the zero III.... respectfully disagreeing with Chonch and SGN here, there is a discrepancy there between the zero III and all the other planes. I think we do need some more Dog Fighters desperately that can compete with it, or at least some more that offer the speed and acceleration that it does.
Good luck with that Keebler, is you iphone under warranty? If not you might want to consider shipping it off to that company I mentioned earlier. Apple never gives people the exact same phone or ipod when it goes in for repair. I am off the Verizon store here myself as my wife's cellphone died. I might be getting some sort of Android phone today... though probably not as I would at least want the droid X which won't be available till the 15th... but I have a feeling that at least my wife will be getting some sort of smart phone today.
I'm glad u come back to kind of explain yourself. I had demanded an apology was an over reaction for being accused smtg I've never done. I've alot to say now so it's gonna span over a few postings. All pls bear with me. It should be better than love poems. This is what I think has happened. It may be really me u're seeing. I was up against a Z3 player but I forgot his name. I used P51 and I'm experimenting how to make the difference between Z3 and P51 negligible. Seeing he's a skilled I thought it's a good opportunity to try some tactics out. Its 1v1 FFA match in an ocean map. There's one occasion I shot him down and he respawn at a far distance. I'm heavily smoked. But I wanted to try some tactic again. So I actually decided to crash myself into ocean so as to restart my h2h experiment. Then he let out an Argh! This is the first and only crash in the game. Subsequently I never crash. Then later he also crash into ocean when heavily smoked while I was at his six. So I thought we are even. This is the only match I did deliberate crashing for a very long time. And I crash only once. Then you came and accused me of doing multiple crashes on the ground (instead of sea). If the above match sound unfamiliar to you, then I believe you either has met my imposter or this is really a Internet connection signal loss issue because i remember my family was watching online streaming drama at that time. And I have did many low level flying and diving (not that I want to but to chase players) and I always pull up without single crash and likely the signal sent to your device is I never pull out and you see me crashing while I see myself pulled up. So which is which? I still think you should PM me to clarify rather than accuse me without ground. Later I met Burrito playing as Shern's mum flying inZ2. Prior to that match he was in Z2 also so i straight away know that's him playing as my mum. And he crashed at least 5 times, sometimes he's not even smoking. So this make me thought he's the imposter who keep crashing in your game. And I brought this up to you telling you it's probably him messing with us, and I never demand any apology from you again but expect Burrito to own up. And he did admit he's Shern's mum but he denied he's my imposter. And I give him the benefit of doubt and just let this issue settle down and thought we all can move on normally. But you just went on in your displeasure by creating rooms saying I cheat or I crash whatever.
Regarding players who do deliberate crashing, I've never despised such act. In fact I love them doing it. Knowing that I'm not likely going into top10 again, I find my satisfaction by being #1 in the within match kills ranking and don't bother about scores anymore. So I always cheer whenever those with ranking above me crash. Because this will reduce their kill number in the game making me sooner to overtake them. And when I'm heavily smoke, I really refused to crash because I'm working hard to overtake the leader. I don't want my kills to be reduced. So what I normally do is to quickly find those far below me in the match ranking to do h2h. Half of the chance I bail out without death and the other half those noobs killed me. And either way I'm happy because I'm back again to try to overtake the leader. So the only reason I choose not to deliberate crash is because I'm always trying to overtake the leader in the match. Crashing is just detrimental to me to achieve my goal.
Suk, I've never think you're just trying to create a stir or to purposely accuse me without ground. But something must have really happened that makes you want to accuse me. And I need to do thorough investigation on this to clear my name, of which I've fully explain to you the possible causes of this issue. So shall we move on, hug each other and then take off in our planes to start shooting at each other again, like old times? And can you stop creating those rooms with my name on and stop having game IDs with my name it?
Yep, sounds like my imposter again. Fan worship on the horizon. Was he any good? Besides i've been Darth Arse since yesterday morning. Speaking of crashing, was in a room earlier (for a short time), spartacus was in there too and somebody in Z3 called 'Lead poisondo r die' just kept crashing into the sea every time he was flaming. Hell, if i wanna respawn a fresh fighter fast i just pull up in the centre and hold a stall til someone kills me. Not wise, but speed is required.
Free Flier Also, speaking of crashing, I've been diving out of the fur ball, towards the ground whenever I get the "Bail out" alert, and I have the chance, and then bail out close to the ground. Sometimes I get the "Smokin'Joe crashed" message, sometimes not. If I did does that mean I've been billed for a crash? Also, about bailing out, when I started this game I was surprised to see that they allowed for shooting pilots hanging in a parachute. And appalled that people would do it! I got used to it after awhile though and started to reciprocate, after all, a kill is a kill. However, I still will not just shoot some poor shmoe hanging in the air unless I was instrumental in putting him there. I think that's only fair. Just sayin'
I think you misunderstood the game. Firstly, a crash will cost you 1 death count, whether or not it happens after you bail out or before you bail out. So if you bail out and then your plane crash and the message come out say you crash, sorry, you just got 1 count into your death tally. A successful bailout without death is when there is no message about you crashed or you getting killed before your plane self destruct. Simlarly, there is no such thing as shooting the pilot in parachute. After you bail out, your plane will remain for 3 sec. If anyone shot down your plane within the 3 sec, he got your kill and the message will say you're killed by him. So when you see others bail out, don't aim for the parachute. You get nothing for doing that. Aim for the burning plane and try to destroy it within 3 sec.
