Yep that is all over the news. All Apple is saying that its a software issue claiming that the bars are showing too high a signal and that this has been an undiscovered issue since the original iphone, though there are claims that it's much more than this. They will be updating the software soon. I hear the fix for it is to get that bumper case. Did you try that by any chance?

Nope that one doesn't work anymore. Even with the iOS4 updated app they just took that out. Apparently Steve Jobs didn't want apps that cleared memory. That same company offers "free Memory" and Free Memory lite" though. They kind of allude to that claim so on their website that it will clear memory when you open the app. It seems to but it has no button it just runs when you open it and also it will only clear the memory when it gets to a certain point and it doesn't clear as much. Some of the reviews make the claim that they sneaked that feature past Apple by not mentioning it at all in their product description. I tend to think it does do something. It's only 99 cents though so why not give it a shot. I can tell you this though it does nothing to clear up any of the issues I am having with SoG, but sometimes my ipod in general just seems to run snappier after using it.

Um, sometimes. Usually though the jumping planes are an indication of a poor connection on either your end or your opponents end. What I am experiencing is a jerkiness that occurs in both online and offline mode. It even happens when I am viewing planes in the hangar. Sometimes it's so bad that everything kind of blurs and doubles. It's weird actually, you know how a 3D movie looks when you take your 3D glasses off? Yeah well that's what it looks like at its worst. It makes it really hard to make out the other planes, judge my distance to the ground and just makes playing an overall crappy experience. I am tempted though to get some 3D glasses and see if I get the 3D gaming experience though. Perhaps I don't have to wait for the new Nintendo 3DS :)

I'm just not much for Facebook I guess, I should probably post my DC trip pictures up there though soon :) So you cut off your broadband or is the service just out for that long? I don't think I could function without internet access! Yikes!!!!! We've all missed seeing you in SoG buddy! I think we could use you to teach some of the new kids some tricks! :)

Are you joking about the crashing or are you talking about plane collision? I have zero crash on ground for every single match I played for the last few days. This is gonna be strange. Server glitch? Or probably due to I've been playing when my family watching online streaming drama that is disrupting my internet connection, although from my device I've not received any crash message (except plane colllision) or seeing my plane crashed to ground (not a single one account). I have indeed many times fly very close to ground and pull up without crash very successfully while chasing low flying enemies.

I lost connection too. It's unusual for me to enter a room and see a player with 50+ kills when I'm at 0. I was pretty excited at the chance to mount an amazing come-from-behind victory but I guess it wasn't meant to be. He was at 54 when I entered and right before I got booted out he was at 70 and I was at 20. I was making slow, slow progress. :)

Welcome back nelge. Apple is supposedly working o a software release. I guess their calculations for showing how many signal bars is screwing it ip

Wow!!! I thought Casanova was Chonch! I came in early and he was pretty vicious. Felt so beaten, I dropped the double-bird t(>!<t) and flew as dazed & confused: >(?.?)< I ran into him later in another room though and he seemed to run out of steam. Maybe a hot or not kinda player? Anyway, GG!

Who's flying as a sith... I think we should make a formal conifer. I think we should also formalize a Jedi group. It would be cool to make them formal squadrons, but if you guys are against that it's cool as just a fling thing

Good idea! Maybe it can replace xZ3 which can be a sensitive issue. :D

Do you want to exclude Z3 or just be like normal group with no plane exclusion?
