Exactly the same here! I actually hated the communication options (and still do) and worried that bad sports were going to ruin the game for me. I used to play pretty seriously on Full Tilt Poker and I absolutely hated the chat feature. I didn't learn abbreviations for things and would always type out "nice hand!" or "good game!" So when I would win a huge hand and the other player would type a stream of "nh! nh! nh! nh! nh!" I just assumed they were pissed. Orion was the first guy to make me see that the messages could be used politely.
SOG wars ... a new recruit Am enjoying the (xZ3) tag these days ... I hope you don't have to have a certain skill level to use it as I do not rank so high! I know there were not a lot of expert players in this game but it did give me an added sense of purpose.
probably not deception. i often mean to hit GG , but i hit adios instead. Last night, I hit Owned against someone and felt bad about that. i usually GG a few times after so hopefully they'll know what i meant. i wish we could remove some of those b/c i don't use them all.
Natiou-Horizon, or whatever your name is. . . . I know you read these postings. Understand something, every time I enter a game with you in it I go and get my ZIII, and I chase you all over the place. I do it because its funny to see how many planes you go through to get that one kill so you can drop the owned, owned, owned thing and run out of the game. I will continue to do this whenever I see you because for me it truly is fun to watch you turn tail and run so put on your track shoes my dear and start stretching out!
I have seen 2 of our friends taking up Chonch's P40 challenge. I've to warn you guys that this is a highly dangerous activity. Please do not attempt without adult supervision. Hint: if you've noticed Chonch's P40 scorelist, those players are strangers and probably noobs. So to take up the challenge, keep trying out different rooms to look for noobs-only room, preferably those that fly the Z3 to make the screen shot looks good.

Keebler, I have gone so far chasing him that I have gotten warned to return to the playing field! I will spend five minutes chasing him all over just to watch him crash his plane after he gets good and shot up. I could careless how long it takes to finally track him down. I sit here chuckling every time he does it. I went into a game today with a p-40 and he nailed me right off the bat. I chased him and downed him once with the 40 and after that he turned and ran. I grapped my ZIII and returned and chased him all over. I think he had like 15 kills when I got into the game and when he left, he had 15! Jeez, could you have shot me a few more times! I don't think I got the point yet! LOL
lol i have to be honest - I didn't know who sally was at first until i checked a few posts back! I was just trying to kill anyone as fast as I could lol nice DG'g in that p40 though. a few times i went to slow down and your plane was right there barking at me! fun times! my son asked why a guy has a girl's name. i told him maybe it was for his gf or mother
Keebler, I have been flying the Mustang II alot and if your anywhere close to my age you may remember the song Mustang Sally by Wilson Pickett. I actually put a link somewhere in this forum to the song.
lol I do remember that song and it's in my itunes library. if i remember correctly, there was a great rendition of that song in "The Commitments"
I see your point Shern but you've got to realize that finding the plane that best matches the Zero-III defeats the purpose of (xZ3). I just becomes Z3 vs. P38 or Z3 vs. Yak3. I've never claimed I killed Z3 vets in my P40 and I agreed with your FB reply about screenshots being whatever you want them to be. I'm bored. I just want to see some good players fly the P40 and score some kills.
Chonch, I tried the P-40 challenge but Keebler put up a very persuasive argument about not doing it with seasoned vets in the room. It went something like this, PING, PING, PING, PING, OUCH, OUCH, OUCH, BLAM! OH LOOK. I HAVE A NEW PLANE. . . . . argh!
I tried the P40 challenge a while back and it truly was an atrocious experience. Your only hope is to make your name something like "Junior's iPod" or "Spare iPod for hospital stay" and hope you get some sympathy!
lol I find this to be good advice, but personally, I slay anything I see for the simple fact (and this is actually fantastic : There are so many 'newer' players to the game who are good that I can't slack on anyone for fear I get shredded when I leave them be. I used to do that - leave any noobs alone and go after the vets etc.., but then I started getting just murdered without even realizing what happened so now I fly and shoot like someone's on my tail all the time. This means the 'spare ipod for hospital stay' folks out there get nothing but a hail of bullets
I think we can go for more than 100 kills in one match now. When SGN put /10 for the room when actual is still a 8 players game, this makes the rooms to be continue visible in the list even though it's full 8 players inside. I've seen some rooms having more than 200 minutes !!!
SGN is still not giving any indications of when the next update is coming exactly, but I have a feeling it will be soon! At least they are leading me to believe the iOS4 lagging issue will be resolved. Skies of Glory Hi Sean, its going well!
