Welcome w00per! We've been playing together for a long time now. I think you should be on pace to pass Tom and myself any minute now and move into 9th. Congratulations in advance for making the top10. I've slowed down my playing a lot since I've gotten bored with using the Zero-III and am annoyed that Vanessa!!! (aka 501) is actually two lifeless individuals playing around the clock on the same account. I've just been playing about 20 minutes a day flying some of the other planes. Glad we're getting some more of the vets to join the forum. Now we still need iooi, USAEdaWg, Boshe, HE, VICKY BOXX, Dribs and a few others to join to really have a good representation of the top players in the game.
SGN had clarified that the red blinking arrows are enemies shooting at you. With this info, lets see how this will improve our fight. Vanessa said she retired completely from SoG couple of weeks back because her iPod is with her nephew and they are a long distance apart. Her nephew is on long break so he has all the time, day and night, to play and move up in ranking going full time.

I do apologize on behalf of my nephew for being a lifeless individual..No worries Crunch, he won't be around for too long, he is leaving for bootcamp in August, atleast that lifeless individual got BALLS to join the military and serve his country? We really are in need of some new planes aren't we? I was getting bored myself, but now that I have switched back to my old fav, the mustang II, I am finding I have a new apriecciation for the game.. It's fun again! Racing for that top 10 sure does take a lot out of you doesn't it? It really is mostly about playing time, though I honestly do feel that everyone who has made it to the top 10 are the best players in the game.. Though not because of their ranking necessary, I tend to think their skill is mearily a by product of getting there. Practice makes perfect after all. In fairness she did retire and give her nephew her phone. What this emphasizes to me though is the need for SGN to tie the rankings to our iTunes account somehow, or better yet allow us to register our device with our account while only allowing one device registerd to an account at all times. This will allow players to upgrade their phones and iPods, and also allow them to give away their old hardware to relatives and friends who might be interested in playing the game. Honestly I think that this would be the only really fair solution. To speak for all the players out there that will never have a chance to make the top 10 as time goes on, at some point they probably will start to need to include some other factors in other than just the number of kills. I think they could do this without resetting everyones current rank as well. Honestly there probably isn't a way to have the rankings that are 100% fair to everyone, but for myself I am not worried about it. I have chosen to give up ever seeing the top 10 again to prevent this game for ever feeling like a chore to me again, so I can simply have fun when I play.

I can't help but chuckle at how the games most prolific stratigiser, the guy who knows the most about this game, is just now figuring this out! Shern, you crack me up sometimes buddy! Lol
Yeah! Ain't that the truth! I really am surprised at this long a drought we have had in getting new planes myself. We used to get a coupe of new ones every couple of months. How long has it been now since we have seen anything new? Since V2 was released, but how long ago was that?
I'm sorry, I remember seeing a post where you said, in response to another member congratulating you on a good game, that it may have been your nephew playing because he babysits for you during the day and plays during those hours and then you play in the evening/night. I must have missed the part where you said you're retired because, and I know I'm not alone here, my eyes tend to glaze over when I see the Shern/Nessa exchanges. Correct me if I'm wrong but that sounds like there were two people playing around the clock on the same account. And if you are retired and it's only your nephew playing on the old account could you tell him to stop instantly leaving the room when I enter. I've noticed this always seems to happen. Maybe that's only when you're the one playing? It's fine if you think I'm whining. I just feel bad for players like Sola and Origami who put a lot of effort into this game and have had to continually deal with people knocking them out of their rightful place in the rankings due to hacks or in this case, multiple users on the same device. This statement is confusing. Does this mean this is the nephew commenting? Has this been the case the entire time? Has Shern really been writing love poems to a guy?
