Your right! It was! Thanks Shern! Your one smart cookie to have thought of that btw! :)

Edit: Does Sola ever post here?

Yeah, that's Sola. He's been going by that name all day. Last night I kept downstroying him (and vice versa) when he was going by Sola, but then today this guy with that weird name (see Orion's pic above) kept coming after me. I had a suspicion he was another Top 10 guy, so I left to check the leader board. Sure enough, it was Sola!

Sometimes I go incognito, too, just to live a normal life. I think putting on the SAB uniform draws a few extra bullets since people can see SAB in the To Ten and how skilled of each of our pilots are when they meet us in the skies! They want to get us! But it does make it fun/exciting :)

I've noticed that here lately myself, but I suspect you and shern and mosquito60 probably get that more than others cause you are in the top 10! I really kind of enjoy it though, it most certainly does make things interesting sometimes :) I like it when people bring on a good fight!

    Orion,
We are just about to close the AA room but why u didn't leave? :) And now is 6 players. There's just only 2 of us and a noob who keep killed by us. Then I keep saying Adios repeatedly to hint both of u to leave. then I left first and monitor the AA room from outside in the join screen. and slowly I see the number increase to 6.

Edit: now is full house again as it has just disappeared from the list...

Something is very wrong with the white Hien's manueverability. I think it's even worse than BF109/red spitfire 4 stars. I keep turning tightly at high speed. All 6-7 arrows are spread across the upper edge of my screen and all of us are in one single furball. I can keep turning and turning and turning and turning.... and none of the planes appear at all for me to shoot at! I am a bit shocked.

I quit and switch to zero and entered the furball again. I turn at similar high speed. And as always the case whenever I use Zero, all the planes will appear one by one into my screen eventually as I keep turning in circle. There is no yellow indicator that get stuck at my upper edge of the screen perpetually.

Has anyone has similar frustration on the white Hien?

I am just kidding. I thought you can have the honor to be the last person to leave that room. :D

I wonder who is the last person who left and close the Battle of Britain room.

I should be reaching 100,000 score by tomorrow. I will try to make it exactly at 100,000 by getting myself killed if i overshoot slightly.

It takes discpline to maintain top 3 positions. I always maintain a minimum quota to ensure I am always ahead:
    Tue-Fri: 1000 points each day
    Sat: 2000 points
    Sun: 2500 points
    Mon: 3500 points
(I worked from Tue to Sat 5 full working days)
I will play for ~1-1.5 hrs for each 1000 points. ie ~150 kills for 1000 points.

So I keep having the discipline to achieve at least 12,000 points per week. For comparison, GN is maintaining about at least 3000 points everyday. No wonder I just can't keep up with him.

After crossing 100,000, I will not maintain this routine but to play as and when I am really free. That will cut my achievable score to less than 50% per week. But i'm really tired to play so much per week (still a far cry from GN hours on this game) while trying to maintain my career and spending time with family. I have to let go of the top 3 position and to just enjoy my life with clear conscience and fullfilling responsibilities, with SoG as my best entertainment aspect of my life. ;)

I'm so glad your just kidding! :) Well I suppose we could try running everybody off again, we managed that tonight, and I'm a firm believer that if it can be done once it can be done again! :)

Yep, the Hien flys life a bus... Has slow turn and I cannot throw off zeros! But the fire power is one of the highest, thin profile makes it good for h2h.

Interesting. I flew the white Hien for the first time last night and I found it more maneuverable than the Corsair (my usual). The results were prettier too. The others in the room didn't seem less skilled than usual, so I was attributing it to the plane.
I haven't bought the Zero yet. I was about to and then decided to hold off to see what the new ones will be.

I can't even out turn P40 at high speed using white Hien. I can out turn most planes at high speed using Corsair or Zero. To me Corsair is clealy more manuevable than white hein. In fact, I find the white hien turn rate worse than the red spitfire I used to be in.

Were you in a room that had that "Winter Wonderland" background? Maybe you just had some ice on your control surfaces.:p

The AA room that I created is winter which I intentionally choose to match with my white zero. ;)

I like the Hien a lot. It doesn't turn as great as the corsair or the zero, but it's way better than the spitfire. What I like the most about it is that it can take a lot of damage, and then of course that awesome firepower. This makes H2H runs soooooo much fun!

This is the timing I've done for each plane to complete a loop, which can translate which one is more manuverable. The numbers in the bracket are the handling rating by SoG. I sorted from fastest to slowest.

    Zero (4.5): 6.7 sec
    Corsair (4.5): 7.0 sec
    Hien (4.5): 7.3 sec
all planes with 4.0 handling: 7.3 sec
(red spitfire, brown BF, FW, green hien, P51)
    Grey BF (3.5): 7.7 sec
    green spitfire (3.5): 8.0 sec
    P40 (3.5): 9.0 sec
    tempest (2.5): 9.3 sec

So white zero is the most manueverable followed by corsair, then followed by 6 planes with same manueverability (white hien, red spitfire, brown BF, P51, green hien, FW), then followed by grey BF, then green spitfire, then P40 and the worst is tempest.
