I've been using different new names each time I start out the day in SoG. I seems to be much better when I'm not using my own name. Not sure why. But since I'm not in top10, I might as well use the advantage of staying hidden. But I rarely see u in the skies. And u can't be hidden because I can check top10.
I'm working right now. Can't play but can occasionally check forum via iPhone. U can't retire until u change to iPhone 4.
hello and welcome! please don't take this the wrong way, but run a search on tips or suggestions in this thread. it's been asked a few times lately (which is great b/c it means more players), but the answers are around. still run a search, but in short: 1. don't stick with included p40. buy a yak or zero III (red/white striped one). 2. don't use rockets (or i'll personally pin you to the spawn point 3. when someone is on your tail, dive down and away - don't turn up. 4. don't get frustrated if you die alot - play hard and alot. only way to learn 5. if you see Hazard flying, kill him more b/c you get extra points. good luck, Keebler aka. TnA SkyNinJa
Yeah, you really do get extra points for killing Hazard. Everyone knows this, it's some kind of glitch.... that's why he has all those deaths! Everyone is always gunning for poor old Hazard! hehehehe! Just joking!
Hazard has all those deaths because he REFUSES to break away from an opponent's six to avoid getting hit by Keebler and myself. I'm thinking of getting the Tempest so I'll be racking up waaaaaay more deaths than kills very soon. I just think it would be the most badass plane to master and will help me earn major street, er, sky cred. If anyone already owns it and wants to talk me out of wasting my petty cash please do so.
Orion would be the one with rich experience using tempest. If u see his plane, there are more dents from his kicks than bullet holes.
I know, I was just joking with him The think I really like about Hazard that he doesn't back down from anyone... we are both like that and neither one of us has has ever really cared if we get killed a bunch... just shows we learn from the school of hard knocks Also your right, he really is more concerned with getting the kill than avoiding the death. I do that too Hazard buddy The Tempest is the worst plane in all of SoG.... in that it has no maneuverability what so ever. Seriously it's like a brick with wings. The only guy I have ever know to have mastered the tempest is Bosh, and that's the main reason the guy is so high on my list of people I would like to see here
I have never used the tempest all that much... I tried to find a use for it, I tried desperately I really did. Honestly it is the only plane I really don't fly at all. I think I'll take it up for a spin though, now that you guys got me thinking about it...
I just tried it out using the Quick Match glitch and it's pretty horrible. I seemed to only enter rooms filled with Z-III's and everyone stopped what they were doing to take turns murdering me. I actually freaked out because after I left one room to get my Zero and reentered and I was still flying the Tempest! I was afraid I'd have to fly it forever. I've had a few games with Boshe recently and he's fully embraced the Z-III and is pretty good again. My only complaint is that he likes to pull "Al Qaeda's" all the time. It just makes me avoid playing with him now.
Do not buy the Tempest! Since I have BoB (Battle of Britain not Battery operated Boyfriend!) the Tempest is one of my first planes-It has badass firepower, true, but the thing is you can't really dogfight with it-In fact it is a pain trying to get it to turn even! If you take it as a challenge though, it can be fun to fly-but expect massive deaths.
Lol! Now everyone using the word BoB has to clarify the meaning. It's not my fault! When Vanessa said about bob, I really think it means battle of Britain.
I got the tempest.. It's like flying a big drawer... I took it in my early days for rocketing... It can absorb a rocket hit easily, so it's a fun plane to beat rocketeers with their own weapon. I fly mostly mossies, when I'm not in my BF and want to fly a big heavy thing, so it's a long time since I last fly with the tempest. Do you think the tempest is better than the mossie?
