I don't think there's any scientific evidence yet to proof that there's life beyond SoG. It takes faith to believe in it. But Handy may be right. We should start believing.
paki killr is probably racist, who had to hide behind another bad name... I think kids get hurt more by seeing oil soaked birds, they can deal very well with nasty words I think. But if we are unlucky, apple bans the game because of bad language, lol BTW: could you shoot at "make BP Pay"?
OMG, Shern... The only thing which can help you now is a new plane... a really good one... fast.. shiny... maybe some jewels on top... some glitter at the wings and a very big cannon... SGN HELP...
I was fighting some rocketeers... together with a guy with a funny name. WoBer is pretty helpless if he misses you with the rocket. Iceman is lil bit better. I the spawning zone they don't have any chance... There is a rocketeer, "@", who is really dangerous...
Keebler... did you shoot at you mother again? I missed the close up, because I was shooting at her too
Well buddy, I know your not implying I am an apple hater However I don't want to leave Verizon as everyone I know is on it, which means unlimited calls to them and I rarely loose signal, or drop calls or anything like that. You don't know how disappointing I find it that it's still exclusive to AT@T. It blows away anything out there right now IMO. Still though I really do wish it had flash video.... actually I take that back, I really wish I could watch Hulu on it, but you can't do that with Droid either. There is one really cool feature though that you can get with Droid phones that you can't with an iphone, and I hope to see this feature on the iPhone eventually as well. It has "wifi tethering" It basically becomes a wifi hot spot and all your laptops, ect. can log into it and get on the internet though the phones 3G connection. My brother in law has this on his phone, and I can log on to it with my ipod touch That's pretty darn slick I have to admit. The interface is horrible though I think on the Droid. If they would just create a version for other carriers and gave it wifi tethering I would rush out and get one in a heart beat! Until then I am just forgoing the smart phone thing all together. I'm also concerned that all the cell phone carriers are doing away with unlimited data plans. They spin this (and also Jobs in his Keynote today) as a good thing. I know they want to restrict data anyway they can to avoid cramming up their networks... but still how can this be a good thing? I have a bad feeling that playing SoG via 3G might get very expensive for people in the not so distant future.
Yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!!!! If we only had new planes!!! We wouldn't be getting so bored with the lack of variety, and more importantly Shern really needs something else to talk about these days... or a nice long cold shower! lol Nice to see you today BTW, buddy!
Yeah, I would never call anyone on TouchArcade an Apple Hater since it's a forum devoted to those obsessed with Apple devices and the amazing things you can do with them. I think the cost concern and doomsday "pay-to-play" scenarios are valid concerns but I think developers and hardware manufacturers realize the real money is in advertising. Internally, I'm sure Apple is way more excited about iAds than the new iPhone itself. You make waaaaay more dough giving people something for free that's got imbedded ads than having them pay a one-time nominal fee for the app outright that's ad-free. The market that iPhone/iPod Touch owners represent is literally that of a walking, overflowing wallet of disposable income desperate for the next thing to purchase so I don't think you have to worry about outrageous data costs yet. Advertising is equal parts expected market and demographics of that market. Look at magazine subscriptions. You can spend $5 for a single issue or get a whole year for $8-10 because the publisher wants large subscribers to show advertisers they have a higher probability of people seeing their ads instead of relying on boom and bust newsstand sales. There was a rumor a while back that Google was going to buy T-Mobile and give every customer a brand new Nexus One with Google Ads that banner the top and bottom of the screen. It even inspired The Onion to make this sweet video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xtuxax8Dtk4
I know, but it's hard for me to find any playing time lately and when I am on I am usually playing during times I know your not on I do run into Bukki, Vanessa, Hazard and GN just about everyday though
Those iAds look kind of cool for ads. Perhaps SGN will use that somehow I hope your right about that, but the data usage is a cost from the wireless service providers. I don't think any of them aren't struggling to keep up with all the smartphones taking up bandwidth, I think its a real problem for them that they are struggling with.
Actually, AT+T is setting up tethering for iphones as well from what I read a couple weeks ago. I think you have to pay an extra $20/month or something for it, but I'm pretty sure it's available this month. The main I thing I was disappointed about with the iphone 4 was the storage. I was very much expecting 32 and 64GB sizes and really wanted a 64GB one to be able to fit everything I have. 32GB just isn't enough.
Really? That's cool, but very expensive. With Verizon it's free. At least on my brother in laws because he hacked his Droid to do it. I was surprised to see that the largest it had was 32 gigs as well. When the ipod touch first came out, I went with the ipod classic and waited until the 3G ipod touch got to at least 64 gigs as well. 32 gigs really isn't enough. Knowing Apple the next iphone release will be available in 128 gigs.
Hazard, sorry about leaving the game today I lost my connection and could not find the game again. That was a lot of fun!
