um...i think that is part of what the push notifications are for? Personally, I like when they advertise. Just takes a sec to click close or do as you did and change the settings. I'm still waiting for a "hey, we got a P-47 for you!"
No, these guys don't use them to announce a new thing in the game - as already mentioned, they use them even when they have nothing new - just to keep promoting. I *think* they may even have used them to promote something else but I may be wrong. Jamie.

U don't have to worry about Vanessa. She is not going after you. When we had our dates in Starbuck, I can see her eyes are no longer on me. She kept looking out for someone behind me. When I turn around, I saw our 3 2ch friends sitting on one table, few tables away. And I can tell her eyes have already fixed on one of them: GN0000, Origami or Sola. But I think she is going after their ranking, not the person.
