Alas a sign of the times I agree there are lots of really good players lurking about. I haven't seen 7 P-40's in one room for weeks. Guessing SGN turned the noob bot generator off Talking of which, I HONESTLY believe your 'bot' theory is correct. A few days ago I saw one in 'action' it just flew straight, respawned in an identical location, never fired a shot and was still there when I left albeit stuck in that flashing from top to bottom mode which happens now and again. Its not the first time either it could be a glitch I guess but not convinced. Anyway to answer your query... I don't think its any of the above - I'm not seeing any movement in the scores and I haven't started playing yet Oh yes connection speeds... mine has been lousy averaging out at 25kbps or less which means I am avoiding h2h with ANYTHING, especially P-40's I took a kicking in the Mossie so it just goes to show! It got better later on and I took revenge on 4 rocketeers ending with 71 kills in the Spitfire-II. I hereby claim the name [RES]ervoir Dogs for my intrepid venture. The only downside to this game was my team mate an over enthusisastic player (xpro*something) kept filling the screen with 'PWNED' everytime 'I' got a kill... bad sport my friend. I think it must be because you are an extremely accurate shot... it has me puzzled though. GG! Hombre90 I learnt the art of the h2h strategy to Austin. But, this strategy became not effective in the expert of 2ch, too. I should also think about the following strategy.
Isn't that what we've been wanting for the past month, better competition? And it's none of the guys you've mentioned. There is really just a large influx of new, decent players flying good planes. I'm liking it, but it can be annoying if you're looking to climb up a certain rank before going to bed or whatever. I think what you find annoying about it is that these new guys are anonymous, which can leave a bad taste in your mouth if you're beaten by a "nobody" vs. one of the 2ch guys or someone else from here or FB that you're able to have a friendly dialogue with. ps. It appears I'm one of the few guys here who likes reading your love letters. Keep 'em coming!

That's why I'm frustrated. Because i'm trying to climb up fast in ranking but I'm no longer moving up as fast as before. On 2nd thot, maybe is just couple of players from here who keep using different names, making it looks like influx of skilled players. But on 3rd thot, may be SGN had increased the difficulty of the bots that are auto generated to ensure there are players round the clock.
That's the thing, I figured out a counter move that works on Austin and almost everybody else that uses that shoot and dip tactic. It just doesn't work against you for some reason!

Yes, I received that notification. Incidentally, how do you turn notifications off on this game? I no longer want to receive them but I can see no option to stop them happening? Do I have to remove the app from my device to achieve this? Thanks, Jamie.
I think you can go into "Settings" on your device and click "Notifications" and it should allow you to adjust which apps you receive push notifications from. Just remember it's the Settings for your iPhone or iPod (with the gears on it) NOT for Skies of Glory.
They have done this now every weekend for the past three weeks. They are just advertising via push notification is all.
Thanks - got it turned off now. That's exactly why I wanted to turn it off - they're abusing the push service by using it for advertising; something I personally find disgraceful... Jamie.
