I checked my rank about two hours ago for the first time since Tuesday and was surprised to see you haven't knocked me out yet. I also love the 5 or 6 generic names in the top 20 right now with so many "iPhone" and "iPod touch" ID's. M*I*A was a genius with that. Part of me is hoping I'll be in 20th the next time I check, then none of you will know what name I'm playing under and when you ask what idiot is flying around as "insert stupid name" I'm just going to play dumb. I'll also insert a link in my signature to the origins of my current name because it's an interesting post about the Navy's "MUTHA" award for the most spirited East Coast Fighter Squadron that's a big deal in the Super Hornet and "Legacy" Hornet community. At least I think Hobo should find it interesting. Obviously I have internet access right now in my girlfriend's current apartment but it's pretty weak and isn't suitable for SoG (though Handy would never believe that ). There will be a lag this weekend when we move into our new apartment and set up internet/cable service but I'm going to make sure we get the fastest service they offer. I'm not going to play as much as I have in the last couple months but I would hate to be forced to stop playing altogether because of New Orleans' crappy telecommunications infrastructure. BTW: I'm still really excited Vanessa joined! Not Shern excited, just excited that another top player has joined the conversation. So thanks for helping to make that happen. Now if we can just get Dribs, Chitose, HE and iooi to join.

Yeah, like I have been saying, I don't have the opportunity to play that much these days and when I do I like the tough games. When I made it into the top 10 I was playing staying up way late, and I also had some time during the day when my son was an infant. Infants sleep a lot, now he's a toddler and into everything! Plus I'd rather play with him quite frankly. I also just don't want to play when I am tired anymore. Also my wife's patience with me playing so much has run out I'm afraid, so now if I get to play for 30 minutes to an hour I'm lucky. Now that you have moved in with your girlfriend you'll probably see what I mean about that last part in a couple of months or so! Not to scare you or anything like that So you don't want us to see your name anymore so you can sneak up on us do you? I know what you mean actually ever since you and M*I*A bumped me I have rather enjoyed the freedom playing incognito affords me... no more getting singled out in games... no more owned or gotchas or I'm a beast being thrown my way every time someone shoots me down... turns out achieving a certain level of notoriety can be somewhat of a pain in the ass sometimes! Who knew right? Still though...... I'll be back! Muhahahaha! I'd be interested in the significance of your name too! Post that link, it sounds rather interesting Now that you mention it, it makes perfect sense that New Orleans has poor internet service. I suppose their infrastructure really hasn't quite recovered since Katrina. Yes I am also glad to see Vanessa join us here, I'm always glad to see great players find us... and also anyone else for that matter. Yes I would like to meet Dribbs Chitose and iooi join us. HE too, but I'm guessing he's aware of us as I am sure Origami, GN, and Sola told him about us here. He probably doesn't speak very good English and finds chatting with us a bit daunting. Also, I often wonder if he's not really Commetti or V! Those are two 2ch guys that just totally disappeared for some reason (though I do see V playing from time to time). I hope Commetti is doing well. He used to post here quite regularly, and I miss seeing him around.
