I just checked my ranking. I'm 57, Drib at 56. Funny, I thought I'm 59 and I haven't been playing. Edit: I think it's possible that there are 2 people above me with jailbreak iPhones, then they did what the #1 guy had done, and had millions of deaths added to their score that sank their rankings, and the next thing that will happen?? U guessed it! Multi millions of kills will add to their score and whoala! We now have all top 3 occupied by new people! And they will stay there forever because u just can't reach that type of score in your lifetime and SGN can't fix this!
Yeah, I've been meaning to mention him/her for the last few days. Probably one of the most sociable players that I haven't met through TA first. Always gives me 'Wow!'s, 'Nice!'s, and 'GG!'s when I enter a room. He's a good pilot as well and gives as good as he gets.
I use 2 apps to do it "image rotate" or somthing then I upload to "flickr" and post unfortunately you need to go onto the Internet site to get the address but you can still do that on the iPod
GG to you as well! I wanted to stay but my device/game crashed. That turned out to be a good match. Lots of rocketeers to choose from. I almost with I had been in my Z3 to take full advantage, but my Yak got the job done. You were really carving them up

Briefly joined the dark side (rockets) OK, I admit it ... after all this fuss about rockets I changed my name from Briareus to "Anonymous" and turned on the rockets. I stayed in my Mosquito to make myself even more helpless. I entered a room and tried to remain nonthreatening. It's not even worth firing the single machine gun, anyway. Ha ha, it felt great! What would happen? It was very exciting. My finger was just itching to fire the darn thing but I held off until I was directly behind an innocent P40, so close it practically filled my entire screen, then KABOOM I let loose. An incredible whooshing sound then a massive explosion followed by an enormous ball of smoke. It really made my day. Unfortunately a zero noticed me and I was unable to do this again. After I was shot down 7 times I left. I probably won't do it again but it was well worth the experience! Michael (Briareus)
Yeah I really like that guy. Last night someone created a game with my name in it and I find him coming after me and being really friendly. I think he must have created that game He seems like a really great sport! Vanessa is now at #16 and with some of the names she is choosing I can tell she is definately lurking here or at facebook! I know you are reading this Vanessa just say hello or something why don't you?!
I hope they figure it out really soon. The ranking system will be meaningless if they don't. EDIT: Top 3 still look right I guess your just expecting them to show up?
You should go into a game and try and drop bombs on people... I haven't managed a kill yet doing that but one day..... They do make the DTB games kind of fun to me.
Yeah, that was me. I got excited to see a good player when I entered the game and then I got the teleporting thing with my connection so I left to try restarting. I'd get right behind you and know something was up because you'd just fly straight off into nowhere and then I'd be dead. It doesn't happen often so I can't complain. When it does happen it's usually in that Winter map with a full room. I just got off my plane in New Orleans and will be moving into my new place this weekend so I probably won't be playing at all for a week or longer. And if Cousin sees this, I'll try to have that little project for you by tonight or tomorrow at the latest now that I have a little downtime.
I was in a room with ppi and THE SLAYER, one in mustang and the other in a zeroIII. They were not very easy to get. And the worst: while you are with one of them in a furball, chasing him, the other shoots you out of your circles with a rocket. They are really good with it. I tried my best.
It's not always the lack of skill which is annoying There is a new generation of skilled rocketeers around. Not only noobs. It's just a "different style" to make some kills. But I wish you lot's of fun and luck
Here's the thing: I like rocketeers. Not so much as a class of player: I think it's a boring way to play, and even if a rocketeer is good, uses strategy & makes kills, he or she still won't have as good as a KDR as a someone who is good at using both guns. You're just handicapping yourself. That being said, I've been in rooms with good rocketeers (I'll omit their names so as to not paint bulls-eyes on them), and it adds a whole new dynamic to the game. I remember once coming to the tail end of a furball with my plane smoking, watching a Z3 about to tear me apart, and BOOM!!, he's gone. It felt like a scene from a movie. I've also been on the other end of that scenario; and sure, I'm pissed when it happens, but how many times do you get to have those 'WTF JUST HAPPENED' moments in a game? I think it would be cool for SGN to create a map like a bombed out Dresden, London, or Tokyo that included anti-aircraft artillery. That would be awesome, but in either case, I think if all the rocketeers disappeared, the game would be less exciting :-(
Try to find other rocketeers in TP rooms. 1. You shoot your rocket right at the beginning in the middle of the crowd. You normally get one at least. 2. Then you fly a loop (while the others are shooting at you) and then you shoot again in the middle. Normally you get the same guy again, after his rebirth. Skip to point 2.
If the DTB games which are full with 8 players it's great to make kills. Never shoot at the Base. Try to guard yours by shooting the attackers. If the rest of your crew is stupid, it's better, because you can shoot the endless stream of attackers while they need lot's of time to destroy the base.
