Ack, that was so frustrating! Plus, my hotel has a really bad Internet connection so a lot of planes that I should have killed didn't register my shots in a timely manner and escaped the buzzsaw! Work is crazy so less time to goof off on SoG, so I need everyshot to count. I had been neck and neck with Mayhem but. Now he is slipping steadily ahead of me and I am stuck at 48. Bukki
Sorry Bukki! Playing on a bad connection is tough. I have noticed sometimes right before the connection drops I can blast away at a plane and nothing happens. So you are at 48? That's really great! Just don't get burned out chasing the top 10, I think that's what happened to me and a couple of others. Add in some of these bugs and other issues, and things can get quite frustrating. That's why I'm done with chasing points.
Well i'm mainly gonna look at your kills and deaths to make sure your kill rate is 4:1 i was just warning you don't worry don't have to drop the banhammer on yourself
Top 10 is just too much to overcome. I'm trying to stay in top 100, and hold below 50 as long as I can, but marriage, kids & work come first. I have been playing the mozzie more to keep it interesting and different. It is time they issued some new planes to shake it up. They also need to make a variant that is WWI - looping around in a Sopwith will make a p40 seem fast, and in that context guns jamming would make sense. Bukki EDIT: let me add that there is also a time limit. Once iPhone 4g is released and I upgrade I will doubtfully ever have the time or energy to claw back up the ranks. Shern - I'm looking at you crazy man when I say that!
Hi everyone! Now I've a big question: how do I catch up this thread with more than 20 pages to read? Oh boy. I've been really M.I.A. Too busy with work. Tons of issues to resolve and working late. So when i get back home, i just slam on my bed and doze off. Totally no more energy to read the postings and not to mention even playing the game. I think I've even forgotten how to play the game. Is the left button for cannon and right for MG? So who's new in top10 now? OK. Now I shall start backreading and try to link up the story until here. Wish me luck.
Thank You to Origami, M*I*A, Orion, Keebler and everyone else for the congratulations. @Skepta: I started playing Multiplayer on March 5th and there were two one-week periods where I didn't play so I've been playing for about 10 weeks with about 8 weeks of active playing. I try to play a combined 1-2 hours a day broken up into 20 minute segments. On days that I'm not feeling well or am close to passing the player(s) ahead of me in the rankings then I might play essentially all day. My personal record was this past weekend. I think on Sunday I scored 1,397 kills and over 2,200 for the weekend. Hazard was right on FB saying that the Top 10 really just shows you who plays the most. However, it was a goal of mine from the start and it feels good to have gotten that out of the way.
Congrats! Chonch! Now don't settle for blue medals. Go for the colored ones, especially the gold colored one.
Chonch, my congrats as well. As with all the pilots in the top 10, and several more with time constraints, your position speaks not only to playing time but to ability in the game. You have alwaybeen great competition in the air and a good chap here!
