I didn't see him on the list, and I didn't recognize him so I did go after him... I was incognito though, otherwise I probably wouldn't have. We have had a couple of old SAB members return here of late and sometimes I wonder if it might be one of them forgetting to tell us they have chosen a new name. But from here on out then if they are not on the list, I'll just hunt them down.

I think there is a semi good pilot that uses the SAB tags but is not a member. The played a game with SAB Death. I though he was one of us till he mows me down and leaves. So I go look at the list and what do you know there is no SAB Death. This plus other events make me think it is only one person who is faking names.

I only started thinking about that move after being on the receiving end of it, and it was vexing me bcz I couldn't figure out how to do it. Do you watch your life bar at the bottom of the screen and anticipate there or do you think about it only once you go into bail out state?
I don't watch the health bar, I just wait untill I see I am in the bailout state and then look for an opportunity to hit the gas! You can't stick around too long or your dead, but you have to make sure your pointed the right way. If you know anybody is in out in front of the pack, you have to make sure your going in the opposite direction, or try and keep your distance from them and slip past them. You just have to be able to gage your opportunity to get out and you have to make a split decision about it. It's not that hard, it's more about haveing a general awareness of where everybody is more than anything. Edit: Oh and there is one critical thing I forgot to mention. You don't make your break first and then hit your gas, rather you hit your gas and let your engine rev a second and then make your break. That way you have some speed going so you can get out of there faster. However you can't rev the engine too long or you will slow way down before you are safely away! That's why GN thinks I have a jet engine, I've already got a burst of speed built up before I break away It really is a fun manuver to do! Just practice it some and you will get the hang of it eventually Hope this helps!

Gunny, thats me. Thanks for the game and keep improving. You'll be there in no time. It won't take you long. Pay attention to what the better pilots say and ask questions as you already have. I follow the board and post sometimes so I have seen your posts. Most of all, remember that a flying Ipod or Iphone can hurt so keep a level head!

I am not sure if this question has been asked here before or not but I just played DDF, or DFF, I can't remember which one but a good player none the less. Anyone know who that is? Also yur mum, and melancholy. Got pretty intense and all are good players. If they are here, thanks that was a ton of fun. Melancholy was a good sport with communication so leads me to think someone here maybe?
I'm not sure about the other two but DDF is a veteran. He used to have some connection problems that would make his plane jump wildly and it was really frustrating to play against him but I've seen him recently and he's been flying pretty smooth. He's not on the forum but he's an active player. Good competition but not much of a communicator.
This pic was taken halfway through the match. I'm guessing Maylancholy is Austin due to him flying a P-38, being very polite, and having a ton of skill. The score is somewhat skewed because iooi kept crashing. He probably had over 20 kills at the time. [2ch]Oni6 started communicating halfway through and iooi was a stone the whole time. I left about ten minutes after this shot because of battery life. GG! EDIT: "lead posiondo r die" entered the game 10 seconds before this screenshot and we instantly crashed. I took this right after spawning. I promise we weren't getting our kills by ganging up on him.

GG GUNNYBUNNY about an hour ago! After you left, I got to concentrate on that rocket shooter in the P-38 that was on your team. He had robbed you of a kill, or me of a chance at a kill (by blowing me up), lobbing rockets into our fur-ball at least once. I wanted to show him that rockets are more of a liability than a help, and was just starting to do that when the time ran out. And what happened to you just a couple of mins before you left? At one point I notice you flying low and slow and started to swoop down and shoot you. Just as I opened up, I noticed you were not even trying to evade, and not wanting to blow up a good opponent that appeared distracted, I backed off and headed back up to kill the rocket dude. Next thing I know you were back in the fight and shooting me to pieces.
