Thanks for the tips. Very helpful. I have 2 upgrades, then off I go online. I've streak of winning matches, beating players from China, Japan, UK, USA. Yes, u can know where your opponents are from. Looks like i'll be lingering in SvS more often. I'll certainly be back to this forum, but due to limited play time, I can't play both games so it's more or less really retiring from SoG.
anyone who sees some guy called killer with lots of symbols before and after his name shoot him down. his rockets do not seem to have any reload time. he fired a salvo of 4 within 2 seconds at me before.
Hobo, U're right about the bugs in SvS. It's quite like the original FAST. Basically 3 out of 10 games will hang in middle of game leaving u no choice but to quit and lose the match. Then u just lose points for nothing, especially when u have build up quite high points. Sounds familar, Frumius? But this will occur to everyone so the world ranking is still rather fair. And the world ranking will be like FAST in that there's some saturation level and not an endless race like SoG. But I'll probably cut down in games by alot. Think I've (uh-hm) out grown playing games. I'm an adult now... Edit: But the game is still intensely fun. You'll be putting all effort to search for your opponent who is also putting in the same amount of effort to find you to kill you. When I first spot the enemy and if I see he's still holding on his binoculars trying to search for me, I would send out a message "Feel the pain of hot lead!" before giving him a head shot.
EDIT @Shern: Dude you're leaving? Well pop by once in a while. Will miss ya if you decide to go. I guess it's hard to keep up in the leaderboards...which is why I disappeared for so long. And how do you find out where your opponents come from?
Not leaving, just retiring. I'll be sitting back, relaxing, and read all you guys stories about the advantures in SoG. I think I'm starting to really like SvS. Met some really quick shooters that challenge me up to beat them if I meet them again. And also felt good to shoot down noobs (yes, I'm no longer a noob in SvS).
I'm refering to a new game I'm engaging called Sniper vs Sniper online, in short I called it SvS. I took notice of this game from the advertisement banner shown below this thread. This game attach your country flag beside your name so everyone knows where everyone is from. Hobo, if there's a chance maybe we can have mono e mono in SvS.
