Man, I just had a total Keebler moment! All day I've been doing poorly in h2h's with lesser pilots or good pilots in lesser planes and couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. Well, every time I've been pressing my right gun I've actually just been pressing the black plastic and the edge of the screen on my iPod. Doh! I actually put a little piece of tape on the edge to make myself aware of tapping the wrong spot just like I used to tape my lacrosse sticks to mark my hand positions for shooting/passing when wearing my clunky gloves. Now that I've corrected it I feel like Zetor, one shot, one kill. I've had a pretty good day today, SoG wise. I'm at 1,100 kills and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Good game earlier Handy! (I'm pretty sure that was you ). You made me want to take my Hien out for a spin. Keep my name a secret for those who can't see it, ok . I'm in 14th if you don't remember the name.
Chonch, that was me I think. If you think about the name I was flying under, it would make sense. If you don't tell the name, I won't either!
Oh ok, I get it. GG! You made me look like a noob on those h2h's! You've been climbing the ranks pretty fast I see.
Coming from you Chonch, that is quite a compliment. I thankyou! Trust me when I say that part of me groans when I see you enter a room because I know my little white hieney is going to get a zero tatoo'd to it. If I could just get my arse to whip around like the ZIII I could give you a better go of it. You are clearly one of the best here!
I can relate! I don't even try to play unless my son is sleeping I kind of had a feeling when I tried to say adios that you must have been distracted. I said it three times and you just kept shooting at me! Eventually I decided to just fly in a straight line, let you kill me and try saying it again! I didn't want to seem rude and just up and leave without saying goodby afterall! That's too funny
Adios! Guys, My ranking in SvS is not 31000 but 310,000th! This is more than SoG! After going through the training, my sniper skills jumped a lot and start to win matches. The score system is quite like FAST. U beat a pro u gain more points and the loser lose the same amount. Those quit will be considered lose so u still gain points if the player quit. I also tried their chat system and saying hi to everyone and that I'm a newbie. Straight away a pro invite me for a match. I nearly win that one. And need to complete all single player missions to upgrade your equipments for online match. Once u start to win some matches, that's when the addiction start to kick in. So I'm leaving my airfield and going to pursue to become worlds no1 sniper: Shern, from Singapore (there's a national flag beside your name). U guys should check this out also. And let SGN know it has a competition on online multiplayer industry. Edit: I think I'll reset my SvS Id to add in [SAB]Shern. And expand SAB into sniping warzone. This will be the army version called Sgarrista Army Brigade.
yup ya you do that shern i used to be one of the top snipers in that game. when you still had to pay for it.
I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, but there is a way to use any plane you like without purchasing. Go to market then planes. Cycle through until you find a plane you like. Exit out, exit again back to the main page. Click on quick Internet match. Whatever plane you were on last in the market will be the plane you fly. It's kinda like a test drive. Won't work if you create or try to join a specific room.
Well considering you were playing that well without even looking I think I need some more practice then! Lol
Don't get me started on another game Shern. Just yesterday I completed the task of getting three stars in every level of Angry Birds, the last game (addiction) you suggested. How are you doing in that by the way? Have you already reached 100% completion? I think I'm only at 86%. My goal is to pass you or at least come within a couple hundred points of you tonight and then spend the rest of the week passing Original Sola, Kuneho, and M*I*A to at least have a screenshot of being in the top 10. I'm moving to New Orleans in about 10 days. Once I get there I won't have much time to play for awhile while I settle in.
Sounds like a cool game, I'll have to check it out. I don't care for most games other than flight and racing games on the iPod because they never seem to get the controls right. You can't leave us Shern, you like us too much!
HA, that's awesome. I ran into a guy yesterday, he chonched 5 times in a row, i almost threw my friggin phone across the room.
Good luck then! I will check the high scores tomorrow to see how far ahead of me you are! Making it to the top 10 is nice! Your a heck of a player, you deserve a taste of the top 10 glory! It's hard to stay there though when life gets busy! New Orleans sounds nice, I have never been but would like too one day
just a suggestion shern, how about naming it Sgarrista Assault Brigade? has a nicer ring to it huh? Just a few rules i made for SvS: 1. When using binoculars and you want to switch to your rifle, don't waste time exiting your binoculars then switching. just tap on your target(while in binoculars) and you switch to your rifle with your scope more or less on target. 2. Take headshots only when you have the time, if you don't your better off with a body shot. 3. Never miss! if you do, your enemy will react to that missed shot and you've blown your cover! 4. Be prepared in the next round if you've made a shot, your enemy now has a general idea of where you are. by the way shern, the upgrades are a bi*** to get! it's what turned me off of the game when my ipod crashed.
GG Luke I am introducing myself SI. because the number of characters that can be input to the name in the Bob version is little
