That's just a bug, it's always happened. Sometimes you get the paint scheme of the previous plane you were just in grafted onto your current plane. It goes away the first time you are killed. My personal favorite was the time I had a zeroIII with the Mustang II's paint job on it! That thing looked awesome.... and then Handy killed me Actually check it out...

He was flying a Yak and seemed to have it out for me but always died trying and then left after 5 or 6 deaths. I just saw that Hobo mentioned the term in a post and thought it might be him playing incognito after his long sabbatical. I haven't noticed the kill freezes anymore and, in fact, have experienced the smoothest gameplay ever in my last few games. My first game this morning was so smooth I thought I was in offline skirmish mode. Sorry to all you iPhone 3G guys who will roll your eyes when you read that. I like your new name. I think it's best to keep names to one or two syllables. They're easier to say and when you discover a new move or tactic that other players notice they'll probably decide to name it after you . Besides, if you're well inside the top 300 you're not a noob anymore . Welcome back to the forum.
