Ah, rightio. I was creating some filthy room titles under the moniker 'No Panties'. He showed up in a few. Was beginning to think he harbored some erotic thoughts about me. Trying to flatter by shooting me down, but i got he a few times too wearing my clingfilm chastity belt. Rude sex related room titles fill up fast, tried 'Hospital' yday. Only 1 showed up. Sex sells even in SoG. I bet Vanessa must have a few stalkers here. I cleaned a room being 'Emma (12)' just to upset a few ego's. When i say cleaned... don't take it literally.
I do, I do! thats interesting confirmation Orion - nice one That 'range stat' info accounts for a lot and could mean the firepower ratings are correct afterall (oh dear ). It had crossed my mind that other factors were not taken into consideration but with limited info we were only guessing. I wish SGN would expand a bit its still very cryptic - maybe when SoG 3.0 hits the store the in-game plane stats will be a bit more detailed and concise? Perhaps thats why they say the 'range stat' is important? Right now it isn't because we have no way of knowing what has what range wise, just guesswork. The only other stats issue is the speed rating (I'm not overly concerned about handling and armour they seem pretty accurate based on the star system). As we all know, the much maligned ZIII is way faster than the Mustang II, ZII, Yak-3-I, Corsair-II and FW-II but all are rated 4 stars, yet the Mosquito's are much faster than their lowly stats indicate. Imagine if all the 4 star (speed) aircraft were created equal? WOW it'd make for some diverse engagements Maybe the 'speed stat' needs looking in to (SGN simply change the ZIII to 5 stars), or could the ZIII have a 'turbo stat' we dont know about?
So now we know the following: Handling star rating is a function of pitch max angle, yaw max angle and roll max angle (this is said by Razvan the lead developer). Firepower star rating is a function of damage and range. Armor stat rating is just the armor value. Speed star rating is a function of max cruise speed and acceleration and braking? If so, those non Z3 4 stars plane should accelerate quicker which doesn't seems to be so. So the speed is still a gap.
Dunno, but it could reflect the numbers who read this forum but have not registered and choose to remain silent watchers. Like the classic when your at a convention or whatever and you want to ask a question but fear peer pressure because everybody might snigger at your basic question. When in fact they are just the same and nobody is gonna laugh. Just do it. You'll only regret it later. Get on here people. I joined on my 3rd day when i was in the 2000+ ranking. Don't be shy. Be active. Sorry wasn't a real reply to your question Mr.Shadow.
Check out the Highscores in SoG... name change at #1: Screw this score What I'd like to see is: SGN remove me NOW! On a worrying note (or not as the case may be). If all of this is just some sort of internal glitchy app cock up (howeverso caused, hacking or not, who knows?) whats to stop the entire scoring system going tits up at some stage? Happened to this guy ('apparently') so interesting times ahead... ... and to anyone who is not at all interested I'm neither bored or charging my iPod
In regards to the armor, it's not really just the armor value, the length of the plane is also a factor in determining how much damage you take. I think SGN really needs to include a more detailed description with the planes. The stats might actually be accurate, but without this detailed information they are still very misleading. I think they need to include this level of detail in their product descriptions, it's only fair of them to do so. I'm going to ask for a detailed list of all the planes actual stats and suggest to them this info is actually included in the game somehow.
Hehe! And the two of us can merrily go back to blasting away at people with our buzzsaws knowing we actually can disect a furball from safe distance... and we can go back to makeing Chonch do his funny little dance he does when we do that to him! (you know I like you Chonch) Getting nailed in the furball is worth it for the entertainment value alone of watching people frantically zig zag back and forth! Fun times, fun times! Yes the only value we are unsure about now is the speed and the aceleration.
I only do that dance once. Then I'm going to be looking for you and only you in your well-armored blimp for the rest of the game and you'll just have to sit there and take it. Keebler, I'm so glad that was you and not some random Zero beating me up! I recognized the TNA part but couldn't figure out what the rest meant. Normally I can handle myself just fine in the P-38 but that's the first time I've had to deal with someone who knows what they're doing. I left to get my shiny red weapon of mass destruction but the room disappeared. Next time.......
Hehe! I know I'll deserve it too! Still though nobody can dance like you I'm just kidding buddy! It is cool though that the Mosquito can do that. It's not easy to do either trust me! You really have to concetratrate on keeping your crosshairs on the target, and it's really hard to track a zeroIII like that. It's not like lobbing a rocket into a furball and hoping you get someone. It's really a different style of playing and I like that. Your dead meat in a DF, but at least it provides some sort of balance to the Zero III. Piloting a Mosquito is totaly different ballgame. The p-38 has a long range cannon too. I know you just bought it, but keep that in mind when you use it, it will have an impact on how you play. Accuracy is the key to being effective with the long shot
GG Nelge I think that you are a player with the highest skill To kill you once, I need three Planes Such a player has only you
Haha yep happy days in the Buzzsaw... time for a trip down memory lane (err... April) and those FFA MOZZIE rooms <?> used to create. Classics The screenshot below was the culmination of about an hours play (the Mossie is a slow killer folks!). [SAB]Handy came in and was on fire killing at a great rate of knots to get right in the picture. Trying to avoid each other was part of the fun - I know I managed to shoot down one of my Mossie comrades by accident (ouch). I recall there was a good mix of ZIII's, Yaks and P-40 noobs popping in for a buzz cut We weren't just killing that single P-40 honest! Mossie POWER! I really should get back in the groove haven't played for quite some time (self imposed exile and all). Enjoying the break though. BTW where are you guys points wise? Orion, Capt Fear, Chonch you must be closing the gap
hehe foo fighters, UFOs that tailed allied fighters in the european theater of WWII. suspected to be one of Hitlers miracle weapons or "wunderwaffe", particularly the Die Glocke(literally "the bell" in english)
Here is a question for you veterans. Do the plane skins change in the different missions? While in the campaign mode in a Zero 3, I switched to the outside view and noticed that, if I remember correctly, my plane was a dark brown or black color with a spotted pattern. At the time, I did not think too much of it, but it occurs to me that I have not seen it again. Is this normal or does it happen often? Now I wish I had paid more attention to the plane and the particular mission I was in.
You're No Panties? Haha! I saw you a few times in the last few days! GGs! I've also created some rooms like that myself, including "Sex," "Orgy," and "Three Way."
What's your current callsign, is it related to "Foo Fighter"? I just played against Foo Fighter (JG 4) or similar to that a few minutes ago and wondered if it was you. If not then I don't think I've ever been in the same room with you my entire time playing SoG. I'm excited to see you play considering you're Mr. SAB.
