Makes me wonder as well! I've noticed in several games lately that by sheer dumb luck one player sometimes ends up being killed by me a disproportionate number of times. May be one of those, or may be a new Z3 player whose wounded prey I kept stealing right under his nose. I am the hyena afterall so robbing another player of his kill is just staying true to my name! Same thing happened to me. 100% healthy Zero III one second and then BAM!!! I swear it was like being hit with a stupid rocket at close range......Maybe worse. Make no mistake, I know I was out classed in the flying department, but that doesn't explain the instantaneous kill. I tried to cipher an answer here but 800 pages is a lot of reading. Anyone care to enlighten me?
The short answer is we don't know! GN, Sola, Origami and NeLge seem to be able to do that. They don't seem to know how they do that either. I suspect they just have super accurate aim, and instinctively know what angles to try and line up on. Are you AudioTechna BTW? Bukki and I remember you! You stuck around in a p-40 once while we were beating the snot out of one another, and you would go in and take out which ever one of us survived or head to head runs and were in a bail out state! We thought that was pretty smart. I do hope you have bought a plane. The zero III is the best... just get out of the p-40 if you haven't already! Your too good a pilot to remain in the thing!
I've always wondered if SGN calculates the kills in a realistic manner. For instance, heavy gunfire that lands right on the cockpit should kill the pilot immediately regardless of the rest of the plane's condition, but that's just my speculation. Does anyone have any actual info on this question
Your welcome! I'm glad that worked! Perhaps I should share it just in case others are having the same problem. Here it is for others: If you are waiting more than a few days for your confirmation email something is wrong, it should go though almost instantly. If it doesn't try the following. Try again with a different user name if you still don't get a confirmation email, check your spam filter or junk mail... if nothing is there, than your isp probably has your security level set to "Fort Knox" nothing will get in. So open up a free hotmail, Yahoo or Gmail account, and try again using yet a different user name and your new email account. That should do it you should then be able to post!

We don't have any actual info about this, Razvan never told us about it if it were the case. I really would like to know too, and also if some planes cannons have a greater range than others. It seems to me the Mosquito can kill planes at a further distance, but others aren't so sure. It would be nice to know for sure if this is the case or not.

I've run into a lot of kills like that! One second, I'm in perfect shape, downin' some P-40's, next, I'm on fire and I get the 'bail out' message! It could just be rockets that don'tt have the sound, but as for the case with NeLge, I have no clue how he did it.
Oh one more thing, you are probably going to have to PM Hobo again to give him your new user name so you can join the SAB TA group. Congratulations on being our newest member BTW! You can't shoot me down anymore unless you take off the Tag, but Austin is fair game now.... poor Austin, I have a feeling he's going to be rather upset the day he faces us as wingmen! GN GG!! and the one earlier, always good fun. haha, I must be doing something right if people think I have super guns or something- nothing untoward going on, what are your i.d's techna and michael? any plane goes down very quick if you swoop in on their 6 at close range and unload, you would have enjoyed the 5 or 6 'NeLge&Sola' rooms I made earlier! I don't want people to avoid the KillNeLge rooms because they think I'm cheating, anyone here will tell you I'm not- hopefully just get lots of good players in Sola like you said-concentration needed!
