Either people are a lot better now, I'm rusty from a week of hardly playing, I'm unlucky, they hate me/love targeting me due to the SAB tag, or the planets are simply aligned poorly for my KDR, but my Kill Ratio is dropping! Aieeeeeee! Or... is it my breath? (If so, somebody please tell me!)
yeah...I just started back at the university and I haven't played for about 2 weeks. I am almost scared to play. either because I have gotten worse or because the game isn't brand new people have honed their skills quite well by now.
Yeah I had done one a while back. as you can see I stopped playing a while ago, my kdr was plummeting. see attachment PS. doesn't even come close to comparing with frumius.

I wonder if he will be like GN. The game is not getting difficult. U guys should follow GN style: quit from the game when u find the room difficult. Keep jumping from room to room and u will eventually be in a room filled with noobs only. And use Zero and get used to the plane. Once u're used to it, u will unleash the true beast within u. Really
I say come back, npk. It's fun having you around to chat and play with. I started school as well, but I'm teaching (part-time, a second job). Making up lessons and grading has added to my already busy real life. I'm teaching a Photoshop A class and a Photoshop B class at the local community college.
My ID was reset by itself and erased all my achievements including the 100 dogfights. I have shared how I did it in this forum. Let's see if your tactic is the same. I use Corsair for it's speed and rocket for long range firing attempt. In general, once I get to a level (>80% difficulty) where dogfight is impossible to win, I will use rocket and fired at them at start. The I will dive and hug the ground and boost toward them. Once they passed me I will boost forward until they are way behind me, then I turn and repeat the rocket firing. I keep doing this until I killed all of them. It's a very slow and boring process. Take patience to complete the game. My 100th dogfight is the most interesting and quickest one. I fired rockets into the yellow squares at start. I managed to down 1 plane. Then 2 planes crush into each other in the preprogrammed evasive maneuvers. Left 1 plane for me to take it down with rocket and MG in h2h.
I got a feeling that all of us may look similar to some extent. Maybe our types of look are those who loves this game.
I suspect there will be FW109D for sale in the next update. Would expect this to outperform spitfire and BF109, as according to history, right?
Keebler finally bought the Corsair after I repeatedly telling him it's better than spitfire. I regretted because that will make his kill rate very high in the game and I won't be able to catch up in the game. But I have no worry because I now got used to Zero which is a sweet flying machine that can out perform Corsair anytime. And he do not have it....oops I revealed this again. Hope he will not buy the Zero and no way I'll be faster than him in kill rate within same game if he use Zero.
Lol! I'm also very impressed and amused how he let out so many argh at one go, and while he's flying. He's amazing. Haha.
I am seeing lots of Corsair and almost overtake the numbers of P40. This makes the game more difficult. And our names certainly add more challenges. People loves to kill SAB or top players because this makes them feel good.
After using Zero for the past 500 kills, I'm in love with it now. And when I tried back Corsair and spitfire, I really find both planes technologically outdated, especially the spitfire. In rooms filled with corsair, I seems to be able to out-turn most of them, killing them in furball. My kill rate is fastest naturally. But h2h is still the weakest thing for Zero. I got used to do h2h fight in spitfire that I forgot I should not engage it using Zero, and got killed quite frequently in h2h against dlc planes. No problem if h2h against P40 or another Zero. So if u're using Zero, avoid h2h and u should be doing well.
I was on same team with GN just now in a TP room. Both of us are using Zero. I'm impressed with his killing rate initially and he always seems to take out my targets. So I followed him to see how he played. Once he fix on a target, the target will be gone in a sec. His MG is accurate and steady. Good thing I'm also in Zero. I decided to try my best to overtake him. He's at 9 kills while I'm at 2. Then I keep killing as fast as I could and the zero really help me to land on many target opportunities. I overtook him at 14 kills and he quited after I passed him by few more kills.

I did something similar with the 100th dogfight. I didn't employ any strategy really untill the last round, for all the others I just had at them using rockets until I got lucky and won that particular level. I only had trouble really with the matches above 80% with 3 or more planes. For the 100th dogfight, I fired at them before they even got on the radar using a corsair, and I tried to kill at least one of them. Then what I did as apposed to diving down under them, was veer either to my left or right and bury the throttle into the redline and take off. Then when they were behind me far enough, I would turn and line up on one of them as quickly as I could and fire one shot at them. I did this until I had killed three of them and then since I had taken no damage I just went head on at the last one and took him down. It took me a while to do as well That does pretty much stink that you lost all your achievements on your ipod. I wonder if the game devs might have any ideas on how to get it all back. If not I know your more than capable of doing it all again, it's just going to be a PITA for you.
Yeah I was in a game with him last night. He came into it about a minute after I did. When I got to six kills I hit the health bar to check the stats of the other players and dude already had like 20 kills at this point! Keebler, I ran into your terminator friend again last night. He hit me with a rocket so I let out an ARGGG, and low and behold he didn't hit me with another one the entire game. I think you must have traumatized the guy!
So Shern, I haven't really played many matches in anything other than the Corsair, just cause I am so used to it. So what does each plane do best and more importantly what shouldn't you do in each plane. Could you give us an official breakdown?
