The pain the pain Just ordered a pair of BEYERDYNAMIC DT770 PRO CLOSED BACK HEADPHONES. My original dj ones broke the day before i bought SoG, so i've had to put up my my shitty apple ipod ones. Pain literally playing away. Why can't apple get phones right? Looking forward to some decent sound now.
Another imposter? I just got minced by some dude called [SAB]Poser. He's pretty handy with his rockets. I was leading a frag match before he came in and pretty much downed us all. I was his biggest threat so kind of targeted him more too. Must've had him 4/10. I must start a new account here for my final name change. BAMBI is so yesterday. It's (BUMCRACK) now. Which kind of fits as it's my bloggers name. So it's kinda close to my (arse) heart.
That's true, but they were never so dominant that you couldn't be competitive in another plane. The zero III throws the equation so far out of whack that it practically forces you to have to fly the thing. We never had a plane this dominant before. Those other plane only had a slight edge over the other planes which could be easily compensated for if you just knew the quirks of your particular plane of choice.
I always get the higher end Sony earbuds. They don't cost in the hundreds of dollars, they sound great to me and are comfortable. I actually have apples high end earbuds that I got on eBay for half price of retail, and even those are horrible! Your right Apple can't make a decent set of headphones.
Hehe! Well you always were smarter than me! On Wed I reset my stats to track my current KDR and was 16.5 to 1. Yesterday after that round.... not so much! KDR is just something I have to sacrifice in order to be rewarded with much fun and excitement sometimes Thats just how it goes!
I had a match against Sola who use Z3 while I'm in my Yak3. Only one word can describe that match: Fun!! That's why I never retreat when superhuman enters my room in Z3 while I'm in Yak3. I don't care about kdr anymore. Just want to have pure fun. Btw, I still can shoot them down in dogfight and that feeling of winning just one dogfight is pure ecstasy, on the backdrop of being killed over and over again.
I've noticed that with the arrival of the Z-III combined with the prevalence of rooms with frag limits of 20 or less and a massive influx of noobs it's fairly easy to score 100 kills or more over four or five games without being killed even once. I've said before that KDRs above the 5:1 range are more indicative of an unbalanced game rather than exceptional skill. Before the first major update my KDR was around 4:1. Right now it's sitting at 7.33:1. I don't think a KDR like that would be possible back when we were all flying Corsairs and Hiens.

i met this Poser this morning and they were ticking me off. I will admit that they are accurate with those pussy rockets, but once I got in tight, it was over for him/her I really hate those rockets. i still believe 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999% of using them is pure luck - just toss it and hope someone is there. aarrggghh Handy, GG! I was just in a room with someone named [2ch]HE. He was flying a ZIII but firing rockets! That is abnormal for him. That is why I think it might be another imposter. HE fly's way better then this guy. Becareful if you try an H2H with HE till you see if it is the imposter. HANDY, thanks for the butt-kicking! Himself, nice to finally fly with you.
He's no imposter. Anyone who's very good at this game will drop in performance significantly when they try rocket. The 2ch are also like us, humans who get bored and will try different things occasionally to amuse themselves.
Your absolutely right, that is just an illustration of how unbalanced things are right now with the game and all the issues we don't like. Nobody could have these crazy KDR's a few months ago. You can't win either. Either you can try and fight things and refuse to use a zero III, to try and make things more challenging for you fighting all the p-40s or you can fly the zero III and be competitive against talented players in their zero III's, when you are lucky enough to find them. I tell you though flying the other planes really isn't makeing taking on all the noobs in p-40's that much more challenging, so the way I see it is I might as well take up the zeroIII. Until SGN releases some better planes, and manages to fix the room lists, things are just going to be way out of whack. I have accepted it's out of our hands folks. Just adapt to the current environment and hope that SGN takes our feedback and makes things right again.
Swan Song Man. I think I'm retired. Should have kept on playing after that first crash during the contest, but by the time responsibilities allowed me back in it was all over. Can't believe I even made the top 100! I played all of 30 minutes... Well I'd like to start a new clan called "Touch Arcade Retired" for all the fathers out there that have the clamps pressed down on them. Maybe I'll be in and out once in a while. Peace!
