I'm considering playing like I used to, an hour now and again not that mental pace of the last 5 weeks. Afterall I've accomplished all my goals in the space of a few days one of which I never intended to do. @ Shern I think I'll spend some of the $25 on errr... a 3rd generation Tempest which will be all 0 stars (yet as powerful as two Zero III's because the plane stats will not reflect the proper ratings to confuse potential purchasers ). Ok I just played DOM Mash. Fun in all but man I think the zero-III needs a nerf or all the planes have their stats based off there real world counter parts. Say I am in a mustang. No way could I out dogfight a zero but because of my speed I do not have to. I could out run any plane in the sky and fight on my own terms. Until then I will still try to down zero I see though I am out gunned, fly slower , and have circle being drawn around me.
we have an iPad at work so i downloaded SoG for the hell of it. they don't make an i pad version, so it's basically the iphone version, doubled to fit the screen, Controls are the same, just BIGGER. It's just awkward, the way i throw my phone around looking like a jackass when I play doesn't work with a tablet, your arms will get tired quick, and that thing gets slippery, so you'll probably end up throwing it through a window while you're trying to track down a Z3. I think a cool idea would be, make a full size SoG app for the iPad so you're playing on the big screen, and make it so you can use you iPhone as the controller, that would be awesome.
Shern, was that just you in the ZIII room flying the Yak? If it was thanks for the game. I think that is the first time I can remember flying against you. Your really good in the Yak, I would not see you long enough in a Z before having to re-spawn! I would like to donate my gift card to a deserving player who cannot afford to buy more planes or mission packs. That is if I ever get it because I was in the middle of the game when they sent the push message and I cleared it without reading it. However, I do have a spare gift card here for the same amount so I will throw that in there instead. Anyone have any ideas besides themselves!
What about setting the sensitivity all the way up? that way, reletively small movements of the Ipad will give you full range of motion in the game?
That's actually a genius idea! Most iPad users will already have either an iPhone or an iPod Touch so that really does sound like the best solution.
Yup. GG! My Zero3 come in!!! room name is not working well as expected. Tons of P40 still comes into my room and nearly bored me to death! I really love it when u, Sola, John Cornor, etc enters my room. But such moments are rare.
Life is just full of coincidence. I was just thinking of using the name Angela to play the game. Thought of using a girl's name to see if I can have a Vanessa effect. Then my wife called me to do a chore and then I came back and start a new room. Oops! I forgot to change my name which is still Shern. I thought of changing to Angela later after this round. And guess who is the first player that enters my room? It's a player called Angela's smtg flying in Mosquito! I was struck! Imagined I played with the name Angela and there would be 2 Angela! Mmm, is Angela as common a name as Tom, Dick and Harry??

Well we'll see how that goes, I'm just not planning on killing myself to do it. I also hope Kunheo comes back. He wasn't joking by the way, turns out he had a jailbroken iPhone which there is nothing wrong with, that allowed him to see that stuff! SGN admitted this was something internal that they actually had considered at one point, but now don't have any plans to ever implement. He might be upset we didn't belive him... who knows, I just hope to see him again. His presence is missed.
