Shern, I changed my name after being an idiot and throwing in the towel a week ago. I actually didn't really play at all for a number of days then a push message came through about the contest when my daughter was playing so I changed to Q-Ball and came back to try my hand.

Just played a good game with wrbrd. It's enjoyable to watch a (presumably) new player improve round after round and start to mimic your tactics and use them against you. He's also a good sport to stay in it when the h2h record is 25-0 against him. By the last few rounds he actually started to chase after me on bailouts. If he had been in the Zero instead of the Yak-3 he would have caught me at least half the time.
Bored of hitting on P40 noobs? I just found a way: created a room called Zero3 come in!!!. First player entered a P40. Sucks. 2nd player P40. Don't they know how to read the sign?? Then 3 Z3 players entered and the fun begin! Yah! When the room is almost filled, all of us are still at 0 kill because I was dogfighting with a Z3 vet and he bailed out successfully, respawn and come back to have the first kill of the game, which is me, I died first in the game, even before any P40 was down. The Z3 vet was leading. The other 2 Z3 was average players. Then other P40s left leaving 1 Yak3(me), 3 Z3 and 1 P40. That P40 called 'fill' is a good sport. He's brave to stayed behind among the Z3 and Yak. Eventually he achieved 3 kills before I quit at 50 kills. And one of his kills is me which he put out a Owned! after killing me. I replied Nice! since he's in P40 and chose to stay behind. I adopt the strategy of staying away from Z3 furball, let them fight one another, then when they had weaken one another, I will come in with my Yak3 and swop them all. One by one the Zero falls. Fun! The Z3 vet got me about 1:1 with him having couple more kills on me than I on him. Anyway, I did overtook him in total kills and l leave the game with 50 kills while the next best player in Z3 is at 28 kills. If I had use Z3, it won't be as satisfying as using Yak3 and top the game filled with Zero3.
Hi "Jack Sparrow". Very tough room, thanks to you!!! I figured out your strategy a little later in the game but it didn't matter. Every time, I tried to float above the fray and wait for my chance, one or two of the other Z3s would come gunning for me. I wished I could have yelled "You fools!!! Can't you see what he's doing!?!?" Anyway, GG! and mos def on the respect for "fill". He really stuck it out and took advantage of some good opportunities.
Extra Padded Out of curiosity. Has anyone played SoG on the ipad? If so, what it like? Do you swing it in the air when sat on public seating outdoors? Are the controls the same? I've undergone another name change. I'll go back to "somebody" when i'm clearly inside the top 1000 grade (just round the corner). Say in top 800 and someone will return.
Hehe. Thanks to the 2 Z3 to keep u occupied, I would be slaughtered by u over and over again. U're that good. Someone mentioned about strategy over skill in the game. I forgot who but this can be one classic example of using strategy to give u an edge in the game despite using an inferior plane and there's no need to be as good as Sola to win the game.

Who killed bambi? I've resurfaced as BAMBI for a while and just flew into a [SA]swiss and Vanessa dogfight. My palms were sweating as i just fired in any direction and hope they think i'm not worth bothering about as if i was a tiny ant. LOL. they both downed me. Least i went out in style. BAMBI will stay, it's kinda cute and fluffy.

I was going to play some last night to get myself back in the top 10 hunt, but I crashed at like 10:30pm! I have to say though, I feel so good today! My 1 1/2 year old son is just now sleeping though the night as well! I haven't felt this well rested in a long long long time!
