Who is [SAB]Beast? Doesn't seems to be one of us as he shoot me. He's in Z3. But he's still a good sport.
Oh yeah... I was in a game with him a few days ago and he kept killing me too! I couldn't tell if it was accidental or intentional. I didn't shoot back, cause I didn't know who he was. I was going to ask if he was one of us than, I got tired, and went to bed, and then I forgot all about it. Roger that on engagement Frumius, next time I run into him, I will shoot him down.
Hehe. Actually he can be shot down easily with my Yak3. Looks to me he's a SAB wannabe. But just now the whole game was SAB killed SAB. Doesn't look nice.

My cunning plan worked... ignored in almost every room barring one occasion (Saturday I think - its all a blur playing back to back games) when a bunch of P-40's ganged up on me in FFA seeking revenge for the slaying of their noob comrades lol To be honest (and no I'm not going to give some sort of emotional Top 10 speech here lol), but without you pushing me to the max throughout April I would have given up this quest. I was quite content with getting in the Top 50 but with every passing day another place was possible (Top 30, Top 20 you know how it is). Just plugging away 3-5k points a day and this is the outcome, but I honestly can't keep this pace up! If you'd have been able to continue you'd be there without doubt my man - and probably more worthy of the kudos being one of the best players I've come across, right up there with the finest most skillful pilots We all know who they are - Top 10 or former Top 10. According to SoG's Facebook page the contest has been extended to 4 May (today). I'm assuming this means its still on now? Wish they'd give some time zone info because I'll have to hang onto 'iPod touch' till Midnight GMT (don't want to lose out the chance of $25 after all this pain!). I WILL switch back (if I'm still in the Top 10 that is) to M*I*A but may have some fun with Buzzsaw and Terminator (using the latter gives the phrase 'I'll be back' a whole new dimesion - always makes me laugh anyway) In fact it will make a refreshing change to have a few fun games without a care for kills/deaths/points. haha it WAS... I repeat... WAS... a great way to blend in!!! Thanks Orion means a lot! You probably won't recall but we played a TP the other day (room clearance job nothing special). Sorry to dump you and Keebler out yesterday but this contest thing gave me fresh impetus to weasel my way in! Like I said earlier I can't keep this manic pace up forever so you guys will be back in the hunt sometime soon - time permitting of course. haha yep Queen and country and all that... will change it later just wanted to see the contest through and give all the 'iPod touches' out there a lift (its also rather amusing in TP to have an entire team composed of 'touches') lol The KDR got a MAJOR boost with all the recent noob bot activity - I recall back in February I was something like 2000 deaths to 1000 kills (thought I could mix it up with Origami and NeLge - I couldn't! ). I gather Top 10 status attracts a lot of attention? Watch the KDR plummet then lol I confess the worst kept secret is out - yep its me Shern
MIA, Congrats! Wow, 3-5k points per day?? That's huge step per day! Even Sola is doing about 3-4k points per day. No wonder u can keep up with his pace. But u'll need to keep at this pace to maintain your top10. Reaching top10 is one thing, but maintaining in top10 is another thing that takes lifelong commitment of playing this games about 2hrs daily.
I do remember a rather tough ipod touch now that you mention it Oh and don't worry about dumping me out of the top 10, I couldn't keep the pace up either. I don't have the time necessary to dedicate to climb any higher in the ranks. Between work and taking care of my kids, the only way I was able to do it in the first place was to stay up way too late. For me it was just about making it, not maintaining it. I just made it a goal and I wanted to accomplish that goal. Now I have been getting more sleep and I feel so much better to be honest I am quite content as long as I can get in a few really tough games a day. Also now I am free to have fun with names. You will see how the noobs clear out quicker, and how some of them get soooooo annoyingly excited when they shoot you down! It's part of the deal, you will soon see what I mean. So yep... I am incognito at the moment, and I picked a really non threatening name in the hopes of not intimidating noobs! Now my friend you get to try and guess who I am next time we meet! Muhahahahaha!

Thank you Shern! I know its been very time consuming to get this far, especially on days when my connection speeds was woefully slow - just grinding out kills. I'll see what I can manage to maintain a Top 10 position but need to say hello to the wife now and again The SoG contest really got me motoring... and as its nearly over (or over depending upon what SGN means with their dates), my stats are as follows... Friday: 6411 pts (900 kills) Saturday 5870 pts (824 kills) Sunday 3534 pts (497 kills) server downtime Monday 6875 pts (966 kills) Today... not much so far, stuff to do lol I tried to get as many uniques as possible but there are a few multiple kills no doubt Sola was on fire earlier today - 7k ahead of me! Congrats to him on his second Top 10 placing - 'WOW'
SoG player pollux met "SAB beast"... he wondered why he was better than "SAB beast". Pollux won 4:2... He is damaging our reputation... so then we will have to damage his plane a bit... Never met him...

In answer to my playing time... a very understanding wife and just fitting in every spare minute to plug away... any game will do... even DTB Good for low level target practice (in fact I quite like DTB if there is a good mix of players up for a fight). Yep I'm with you... been there now if it all ended tomorrow its mission complete (I've got the screen capture to remember it ). Trouble is I may get that urge to keep climbing - only time will tell! My wife reckons I should ease off and she is probably right (as always!). I have taken to the skies in a P-40 and Spitfire today and got good results (maybe I'm a genius afterall? ) haha only kidding! I'm feeling the pressure already cant I keep iPod touch? lol Being undercover eases all that grief - you'll be easy to find - I always check the room names vs scores to see if its a vet in disguise lol Gonna leave the Zero III in the hangar today and get back to grassroots SoG - hope to see you around in your yellow Tempest or something
