I know especially the little jet engine with a seat (with the back end missing)! Getting in that would be nuts! I was amazed by how 'weak' the planes looked, just strung together... I would have not wanted to be in them with someone using a BB gun shooting at me let alone a machine gun or cannon!

Yeah changing your name does nothing to your points, stats or anything. You can reset your data on your iPhone or iPod, and you will start showing the achievements again, like 100 multiplayer kills achievement and all that, and your kills and deaths and missions completed and all will reset on your ipod. However your online scores will never be erased as they are tied to your device id. The downside to that is, if your hardware ever goes out, or if you upgrade, you will have to start from scratch.
yes you can change your name and not loose points... At least I do all the time. I fly around as iphone now and again so I do not get targeted by noobs who want to shoot down a veteran! Although I was in a Team Game the other day with three opponents and me... that was a bit of fun, two of them were good enough for me to have to try hard to shoot them down.
SGN just stated on their blog that they are working on an SoG android version So if Verizon doesn't get an iPhone, I have one more reason to try an android

I know, I was thinking the same thing! What plane was that anyway? Was that the one that was rocket powered and the thing would fire like 100 missiles from its nose and then the cockpit would separate and the pilot would have to float down in the thing with a parachute? I was just about to suggest that one myself. freaking amazing place... and 95% of all the exhibits are NOT roped off. That's right! you can stick your head right into the afterburners or the landing gear. It's a very well cared for museum, and very very interactive. (oh- and free too.)
Mozzies The plywood plane itself. F*cking legendary. You ever see the b&w footage of a few flying low level over france? Unfortunately they aren't as fast on here. I like the control on them on here, steady and those cannons do it for me
You can change your name all the time. SoG is identifying you by the ID number of the iphone. You don't lose any points, you just change name.
You don't have to suck them, you only need to click them... It's my first gamer forum too. I think it will also be the last one. I never would go to a forum for a racing game...
Amen! I'm getting sick of the constant "failed to connect" messages and slow menus. Since tonight is the first time I've played in awhile I can't tell if it's just my connection or if the servers are being pushed to the limit because this is the last night of the contest.
