SoG's official facebook page is up again. Sounds like they were making changes, because the fighters club people were hitting it pretty hard (apparently a free game.. Still feel sorry for them, but that's beside the point) they are having their first SoG contest starting this Fri. The five people with the most unique kills will win a $25.00 iTunes gift card. Apparently they can not only tell how many kills you have but who you kill... Who knew? I will more than likely sit this one out as I have all the planes and content, plus I have a busy weekend lined up. If it were for a unique plane though I'd probably sleep deprive myself over it. What is a "unique" kill? Do they know if i'm sitting in rush hour traffic sitting upside down in my car while playing?
Briareus, Currently, or last I checked, I was in the 80s. You're strong as well, but you like flying those tanks. I can definitely respect that, but the day you take out a Z3, Yak, or comparable, the room will be raining down plane parts. Speaking of tanks, I ran into a player flying a Tempest-I. It was like he was there for target practice, but do those have super-armor or something? It felt like I was unloading on him forever. Mayhem
Yes their spies are everywhere! They are in tight with apple and if you have a prototype plane.... look out! They mean you can't kill the same player more than once. I honestly did not think they could track who we were killing.
"You may play as many Internet matches as you wish, all unique* kills earned between April 30th and May 3rd will count toward your contest score." They have an asterisk next to unique...last time I checked that usually means that they explain it below...but they don't

I think unique kills are those Godlikes, Excellence, Good shot that appear after each good kill. I'll try for the competition but life priorities still come first. This weekend is a busy weekend for me as I still need to work overtime.

SGN has clarified on the unique kills. It's simply means u can only kill each person at most 3x to be counted into the score. Which means once u felt u've killed most persons in the room 3x, u've to quit and look for fresh new players.
For the sake of competition, will u: - fly Z3 only? I'll be using Yak3 only. - use single char for your name? I'll be shortening my name to 3 chars.
I think the competition is going to capture the kills by names rather than the device ID, like the FAST competition. So it's not advisable to keep changing name during this time. I will stick to [SAB]SnowhawkShern.
Considering its a competition of every man for himself, wouldn't it make sense for us all to put the SAB badge up for the weekend? I would hate to limit somebody like Sierra to not being allowed to kill us as I think being a student with no money, he could really use the prize to buy more planes
I see you guys so infrequently that my leaving my name as SAB Frumius won't hurt you. My hope is that the winner, or several of them, will have SAB in their names. It'd make me proud I'd say a unique kill would be killing someone with a bomb. Do your 4,000' high bomb-dropping onto a furball! Wouldn't that be awesome to hit a plane like that?
