Should I get the Zero III or the Yak-3-I? Both have a total of 35 stat points. In fact, the only diff is one point more or less than the other between firepower and handling.

Hello Sierra I have heard a lot about you from the other SAB members, but I do believe this is the first time I have heard from you. You must be out of the loop if your asking that question Let me recap for you The stats on many of these planes are not correct. Though the Yak's stats do suggest it has superior firepower to the Zero III, testing by our members which was confirmed by the lead developer of SoG revealed that the Zero III has the highest firepower in the game. Not only that, the speed is misleading as it is also the fastest plane by a long shot. The zero III almost makes all the other planes in this game irrelevant.... almost. I own all the planes myself, and I still alternate between them because the zero III is so good, I get bored facing off against new players in it. Buy the zero III today, as you don't want to get caught with out it when some of the better players so up in a game with their's EDIT: Also a few more highlights you should be aware of. We now have a group that offers friendly competion called [2ch]. They are all from Japan and their members include, GN, Origami, Sola and Commetti They are a wonderful group of guys and also post here as well. SoG version 2 is a heck of a lot more buggy that version 1. Don't be surprised if you app crashes unexpectedly particularly at the end of time limit and frag limit games. The new DTB is not particularly fun as no one thinks they have any incentive to defend the base as the scoring would suggest. You don't get point points in the game for killing other planes, just the base... however it turns out these kills still get recorded to your online scores. Even so, you really won't find any of us here in a DTB game. There is of course a great deal more, but those are the major things I think Hope this helps

Aside from the stats being nonsensical, they are the Social Gaming Network, but instead of having their game linked to their own message boards where they could control ads and other revenue streams, we are here. What PE firm owns them? They fail at harnessing the social webs hey create and in raft seem determined to destroy them over time: see FAST. Two?????? Sola must have started a trend! 300,000! That's really impressive. If you stop and think about it if you devide your score in half, that's 150,000.... Which is what I've got at #10! So technicaly if you had been playing all this time on two devices, there would most likely be two of you in the top 10! So when one looks at your score in that perspctive...... WOW!
SGN should hire you! I never thought about them having the game linked to their own forum/website! I really am suprised they didn't think of that already! Instead, they are on Facebook??? EDIT: Not only that, but some of these games like this fighters club game on Facebook with the large fan base that they just yanked. They should host these flash type games on their servers and then either show adds or charge a yearly subscription. My 8 year old loves this one flash game and we paid those guys $13.00 for the year so he could play the "upgraded" version.

Hey thanks! Good thing I got the Zero III, then. I actually pressed the buy button on the Yak-3, but I decided that, as the stats reflected, maneuverability was more important. I'm quite out of the loop on the App Store lately. Got a lot of catching up to do after my exams. Whoa I didn't know I had a reputation.

Hey Seirra, How's your exam? It's really a long time since we last heard of you. Hope to see u in the sky. U're among the first few who figured out how to play really well in this game. The Z3 had the best speed, best firepower and best handling in all of SoG inventory. The Yak3 is also the 2nd best in the 3 attributes but it's armor is slightly lower than Z3, making it totally redundant when u've the Z3.
Earlier today got a very good match with GN, Venassa, iiiiiiiiiiiii. All 3 of us in Z3 while Vanessa is Yak3. Just 4 of us. Iiiiiiiii uses rockets and his aim is monsterously accurate. He got the 3 of us in Z3 from a distance. Both GN and I are leading the scores until about 10-12 kills when GN start to be ahead of me by about 6 kills. The iiiiiiiiii is the last while Venassa is about 6 kills below me. I think iiiiiii and Venassa will really play even better if both use Z3 with double MG. There's one moment I respawn at a distance and fly toward GN and Venassa. I can see both are in merry go round with each other. I was deciding which plane to go after. Seeing Vanassa is more smoky, I chose her and got a fairly easy kill. I was expecting some reaction from GN for stealing his target and indeed he let out his Argh! I was laughing then. Later someone called my iPhone and I was cut off from the game. Dang! That's one of the best game I've ever played.
nope. im always npk.....and i hardly play. i hover around upper 400's unfortunately. I just dont get the time to play. and yes for now i have resisted the zero 3 and just fly my yak. fun and I want to learn how to fly in a slightly disadvantaged plane compared to the z3. fun stuff. but it i fascinating watching a z3 screaming below me at a real low altitude.
Hey there! My exams been pretty okay. Right now is the mid year season, so I gotta prepare for my chinese O levels. I've also a lot of CCA stuff to do, so that accounts for majority of my absence from Sgarrista. Thanks for the plane advice. I got the Z3, feels great. Though I'm still scoring pretty much the same as with the Corsair. Anyway, seeya around.
I've decided to switch my view to the default view which u can see your own plane. Whoala! It feels like a new game! I can see my own plane! That's refreshing and wonderful! Need to get used to the control because it feels weird after using the nose view for decades. But I get to see and appreciate of whatever planes I'm using. I've now changed to Yak-3.
