It's an escape tactic first observed to be used by player named Chonch. I'm the one who noticed he kept using this tactic to bail out successfully. And I'm the one who named this tactic called Chonch's escape tactic. . It's verb can be chonching. Eg, I just did a chonch and saved my own ass. I'm chonching now. Ok. So what's a Chonch? It can only be used on Z3 which is the fastest plane. This will not work on any other plane. When u reach a bail out state, u do a breakout from the furball and boost to full speed straight out. Then at a safe distance u bail out. Other planes just can't catch up with u to grap your flag. Smart tactic right? Edit: Orion just pulled up a chonch faster than I do in explaining to you what's a chonch.

I just discovered another escape tactic which is an exact opposite of Chonch manuever. Let's call this Reverse Chonch Manuever. And it seems to work quite well also. When u just reach the bailout state and u happened to be at slow speed already, bail out asap. Don't do any turning or play with the throttle, just bail out now. Your plane will become stationally in mid air and your attacker will be orbitting around u and he can't get u. Of course, this only works if he hit u during furball and not from a distance.

I'm glad whenever I run into skilled players like you, because I get bored when playing with a bunch of P40-IIs (it's really easy to shoot them down). I'm still considering buying the plane you had, as it's one of the best planes available (if not the best). I hope to run into you again!
Yeah that works really well if your in a Mosquito for some reason The point straight down thing and then bail works well too
very effective, and i think after the update the bailout time is shorter than before, that's my impression!!!
For those who prefers challenging games than mindless killings of P40 noobs, I just created a room called "P40 do not enter!". And it works! Only 3 P40 enter and the rest are mix of Z3, P38 and Yak. But I still rack up high kills and people start to leave to protect their kdr except 2 P40 and 1 P38 who stayed throughout. This seems to be telling me that dlc players are more conscious of their kdr than the P40 players. Edit: I'm not going to create this room name anymore. Because normally my rooms are filled full in less than half a minute. But when I create this room name, I can wait for more than 1 min and still only 1 P40 is inside the room with me.

Now i can't play the game despite having 3 iphones in my home!! I have downloaded lots of kids and educational games in all 3 iphones and pass them to all my 3 kids to play. The moment i took away one of them, he will cry and cry because he sees his other 2 brothers have iPhones while he don't. So I let each one of them have a iphone to play and my house become peaceful except for the sounds from those games. I'm looking forward for Apple to release iPad in my country...
I agree completely about the plane match-up -- my plane gave me an edge almost certainly. I think you were in the Fockwolfe II, right? I haven't flown that one because the Zero III is this amazing thing that makes my other planes seem slow, even my favorite P-51 , which I used to think was fast and nimble. ::sniff::

Who changed my handle in no2 position to GN3-Kyrios??? I did not even open up the SoG app in my old iPhone which I pass to my mum in law since the time I change to Shern@TouchArcade. This is strange. Really strange. Edit: I just checked my old iPhone the pilot's name and the options name edit still showing Shern@TouchArcade. What's up SGN??????????? Edit: oic. That GN3 name is stored in the BoB version in my old iphone. One of my sons must have open the app and the server retrieve the name from my BoB SoG. I just open the free SoG in my old iphone to let the server retrieve the name I wanted. No issue here.

There are 2 categories of planes in SoG: the dogfighters like Zero, Mustang, BF, FW, Hien. And the armoured planes like P38 and Mosquito. The Z3 is the best dogfighter and no other dogfighter has any attribute that's better than Z3. Anyway, I'm bored using Z3. Will switch to P38 for a change. P38 has better firepower and armor than Mosquito but slower in speed. Handling wise I think both are matched.
GG! But that's because I'm using Z3 and u're using Mosquito. U really should change to Z3. Mosquito or P38 works best in rooms filled with Z3 that are shooting at one another and could not effort the time duration to shoot down the heavily armored big planes without being shoot down by other Z3. Just now there's only one Z3 which is me in the room and that spelled trouble for any Mosquito or P38. But I'm really sorry to have increase your death counts quite a lot. I didn't know is you until I check the spelling in here to confirm is u. Really sorry. But u can watch for me in P38 in next matches.
Who is Momo? GG! He's in Z3. And I think there's a bug in the game with him because it seems I'm the only target visible to him. He always go after me only. I think he got 8 kills before he left and all 8 is on me. But I'm well ahead of him at ~26 kills because I have been shooting down all the other planes including him. The room is full btw.
