I had a crash while merely flipping through the menu a few minutes ago and now when I click "join room" the button just sticks for a few seconds and then no rooms show up. When I try to create one it'll say "failed to connect". I've restarted my iPod but still the same problem. Is it the servers again? EDIT: I see on the fb page that other people are having the same problem so the servers must be down.
I'm going to play Devil's Advocate here. Almost a century ago, in the Dicta Boelcke, the first rule included trying to attack out of the sun. From the very start of dogfighting, people have tried to make themselves harder to see. This is just a logical extension of that.
Oh, I agree that it is a logical step intended to make one hard to see... I've done it myself! No, yeah! In the beginning I tried being a "." and a "*". I tried putting them way off to one side or the other, so that an enemy might be thrown off just a bit, and I would scoot sideways with the rudder in the other direction when dodging just to get a little further off to the side. I don't do it any more now that I have declared war on 'em. It's fun to have something to shoot for, as it were, and I make it my mission to downstroy those guys hiding in that particular way! Mwahahahahahaaaaaaa:::cough:: Excuse me.::cough:: ...oh yes -- I also have a mission, another one in common with many here, to prioritize the downstroymentation (destruction) of those with offensive names, i.e. racist names or profanity. It's fun to have a mission. Oh, I tend to prioritize rocketeers, too! And the guys who escape by diving into the ground! I shall downstroy you all!
I'm seeing the same thing. They might be making some changes to the servers. Hopefully something good will happen when they go back up... like no more app crashes or planes who's performance matches their stats. Think I'll call it a night and get caught up on Fringe
I agree with the offensive names bit and the rocketers, although with the latter I've realized that almost always they're really just shooting themselves in the foot. Once you've closed the range on them they are almost defenseless.
Yeah, I go after the people with the offensive names with a fury. Other than that the only thing that kinda annoys me are the people who when they shoot me down, get all cocky saying things like "I'm a beast" and Gotcha" over and over again. I don't mind a little friendly banter, but there seem to be a few players who carry on as though they won the lottery or something when they shoot me down. I just find it a bit annoying is all... doesn't make me mad, it's just irritating. Nobody did this to me before I made the top 10, guess it just goes with the territory. I target the symbol guys just cause we all decided to declare war on them, apparently it bothers some and it's fun to have a mission and all... It's just fun and games though to me to be honest. I can see these guys just fine mostly, but that's only because when I check to see who's in the game I know to be aware of them. I also recently started targeting guys in p-40's who I know have been playing in them for more than a few weeks (in a few cases months). I don't know, after that whole thing where we thought we might have to pay $10.00 a week for fuel, to play, and because I hope we never ever see anything like that... I just feel like encouraging these guys to buy a plane.
I'll say it again: i go after the I gotcha and i am a beast ppl with a fever! my fav tactic is getting them almost killed so they're smoking big time, then get them in a slow loop, then "GOTCHA"....wait 2 seconds and ratatatatatat i don't like the symbol planes either, but I don't find them hard to see for some reason. maybe it's b/c I purposely search them out
I go after those damn elfpeople, they follow you around and wait for you to wound another plane....... Then boom! They get you and the other guy too. Damn elves.....they're evil I say!!.....pure evil!! Death to the elves and their crappy cookies! Long live the Pilsbury Dough Boy! Oh, I shall pay for this... I should tell you that Zetor could possibly be CHUCK NORRIS! Who else could kill like that?
That's 19.9. But this is not impressive at all, considering he got the hyper super laser cannon. I'm expecting minimum 100:1 kind of ratio with that amount of firepower. Edit: Btw, anyone remember D8 kdr? I think he's even higher than Zetor.
I'm sorry to inform u that Chuck Norris never played this game because he's been banned by SGN before the game is even released. He's known to make games totally unbalanced when he play.

yeah i have to agree with you frumius. a guy cam in the other day named kike and it didn't take long (maybe about 15) kills in row without a single won by him for his to leave the room. I find some satisfaction from getting bigots to leave a room.
to me, it doesn't really matter if fools like these inhabit the top ten or whatever because anyone that plays this game at all knows that they are tools. Then again, I am not a top ten-er anyways.
