I got him after he showed up in another game I was in already. If it wasn't for being there before him I never would have gotten in. I watched him rack up about 15 kills in a matter of seconds.

That is really great news! Thanks for posting that over on their facebook sight. I figured that the BoB is the route they have taken, as they ask for suggestions regarding it. I still have yet to create a facebook profile, as I have been busy as heck lately, but when I do that will be my first post. I'm glad they were honest about the fuel. Kuneho never did mention if he was playing on a jailbroken devise before.
That is insane! Yeah that must be some hack. I think people have figured out how to hack this game now. I actually saw one guy in the iTunes reviews boasting about how he hacked the game to give him all the planes! I'm going to consider this fellow public enemy #1. And if I happen to run into him and can figure out a way to get around whatever it is he is doing, rest assured if able, I will take him behind the woodshed. What the F$&@ does he think he is playing, Halo????
Haha! Well next to the Z3 all the planes seem like lame ducks. Not that I have anything against the Z3 as I do fly it, I just prefer the challenge of taking on good players in a lesser plane. Right now, other than the Z3 I have been using the Mustang II, the blue Yak, the mosquito, the p-38 and just to be different I will take up the red Yak every now and then.
I honestly believe that anyone here can do it, they just don't have the motivaion to try. Yes that might be a bit greedy on my part, cause I know how to beat it and actually have done it twice now. As far as I know only Shern and myself have bothered with it..... And we want shinny new super mustangs dang it!!!!! Is that so wrong?? Hehe
That's what SGN was wondering. Somehow you managed to intercept some of their internal testing. My guess is then that they have that code inside the app somewhere, and somehow your iphone unlocked it. I wonder if FAST's iPod is also jailbroken? EDIT: I think I need to clarify something because of a comment I saw on SoG facebook. Austin most people jailbreak to get applications that aren't supported by apple, not to hack apps. If there was a way to watch Hulu and Flash videos on my iPod via a jailbreak, I would be all over it.
Nice! How long did it take you to figure out the strategy to beat the 99th dogfight? First time I did it I used a Corsair. It's really not hard now in a z3 if you just know what to do. So are you with me in requesting an exclusive "99 dogfight plane"?
I think I got to 67 or so before I ever went into internet play. I liked internet play so much I didn't play the dogfight again. Then, a month later or so, I read that Shern had completed it, so I went for it. It was one hell of a lot easier after honing my skills in the internet rooms. For 99, I killed one immediately, h2h at a distance and had a second smoking. Then it was just some intense circling and I picked em off. I didn't have a lot of life left when I got the last one. I think some guys here are harder than the bots in 99. I can't remember what plane I used. I think at that time I was using a Corsair.
it's gotta be him b/c i was on at about the same time he would be and that plane was p*ssing me off lol he got me a few times before i snapped and really got into the zone then i started nailing him and everything else. i play so much better when i'm slightly mad. it's like my spidey senses kick in
trex, you need to send SGN this information. They can find that player easily tracking his user name and UDID. I can get on a wicked roll in TP, but nothing like you've posted...that is purely insane and impossible without a hack. I can loop slowly and be right there when planes are spawning towards me - kind of neat to see 3 planes reappearing right before my cannons But if that guy is doing that AND LET ALONE IN A P40...that's a hack for sure. he will become my kill b*itch. Wow! Kudos to you my friend, sounds like you did it the hard way! I took my time and thought about it realizing that every video game has a pattern to it.. a way to beat it. So now I have an actual method to beat it that is very much repeatable. It's still kind of tough though even having a method. I only use this method on four of the rounds, starting at 90% difficulty, three against you with no wingman, 90% difficulty four against you with no wingman, and then again at 100% difficulty three against you with no wingman, and then for the 99th. All the others I can win on the first try with out using my strategy. Mind you the first time I beat it I figured out my strategy only once I hit the 99th dogfight, as it was giving me fits at the time.The dogfight missions I think are the hardest thing in SoG outside of multiplayer games. The missions are a breeze to go though.
