Maybe SGN is experiencing some cash flow issues due to the strain on the servers by noobs that have the free version and have never purchased any DLC. Shern had 1 kill and that put him at 28,650 or so. What about the players with sub-1000 point scores? Are they at 40,000? 50,000? There are a ton of people playing this game that haven't paid for anything. When I started playing multiplayer it would give me a prompt saying 'Free for a limited time.' So I rushed to purchase the Multiplayer Bundle and that turned out to only be for local WiFi and Bluetooth. I totally agree with M*I*A. If they're going to start a pay-to-play program then I'm out of here. I could justify paying $0.99 a month for multiplayer access but the idea of paying for fuel or upgrading to an invincible plane for $100 or whatever will ruin the gaming experience. Why don't they just put ads on the menu screens like they've done for the BoB bundle? I don't like it because it's not what I'm used to but I'd certainly prefer that to a monthly or even daily charge. I don't think they thought the multiplayer feature would be such a success and maybe that's why they're pushing these offline mission packs. It generates some extra revenue and keeps players off the servers.
I would even prefer it if they charged $20.00 for the game. But that would have to include everything... and unlimited mutiplayer. Also any future planes.. ect should then just be given to us. Really though I don't see anyone paying for this as people tend to piss and moan at iphone games that are $7.00! Really if they have to resort to this, then I don't see how they can stay in business for long selling Ipod games.. they should probably get into console games. EDIT: I have already bought everything, even that BoB that it turned out I didn't need! I didn't even bitch about that as I realize that supporting SGN would help ensure that they are able to continue development of SoG and to maintain the servers ect... I would continue to buy more content that's not consumable. I'm even willing to spend a reasonable amount of money with a one time fee to play online as I do know there is a cost associated with running and maintaining the servers. Why in the hell are you going to alienate me with this crap!?
I don't see these either. Kuneho, are you tricking us with some Photoshop action? if this isn't a joke and real, I'm done. I understand they run a business and need to make money and that is their perogative, but there's no way I'm paying for additonal in game add-ons. No way! I wouldn't and won't do this for any game. I would be willing to buy planes and maybe pay a monthly fee to play online. Why? 3 reasons: 1. I think it makes the game unfair for those unable to buy more and to be honest, it makes it unfair for is b/c it would be easy kills. 2. As great as this game is, it's a mobile app thus the grahics, as good as they are, are not that fantastic to warrant me paying more 3. Even then, there are are some critical bugs which need fixing. I see that in the first pic the description under 'Multiplayer Bundle' says, "Ugrades all weapons on all planes to" and in your previous post the photo shows the Dogfight Bundle but the description says, "1 week fuel subscription." They just seem like typos for a system they were planning but aborted.
Yes, there does seem something odd there. We all know they were in the planing stages for paying for online play hence the " Free online play for a limited time" and also with the weapons as it says "light". Could be that they had this up for a split second accidentally and Kuneho hit their market at just the right time or something.... Why is it he and FAST are the only ones seeing this stuff anyway?
Yep that multiplayer bundle was a bit of a con (nice work if you can get it SGN ). Maybe it should mean what it says? Give the freeloading noobs a trial multiplayer option, then buy to play online after 24 hours or whatever. Fair enough. BTW Chonch we need to speed up our entry to the Top 20 my man... you are setting some tough targets each day (I like to return the favour haha). My iPod's falling to pieces as a result, power button is now stuck in (can't take pics or turn off) and the screen is moving lol
Yeah, that sounds fair to me, let them experience the online play for a limited time, and then make these freeloaders pay for a plane or something. It should certainly be included in the BoB.

I don't see upgrades, but I'm using the Battle of Brittain pack I purchased on itunes for 6.99. There's no mission bundles or any other item to purchase in the market, just planes to purchase.

I wonder if you could buy those heavy MG's and then set up a room where we could go and you could give us a demo on what these are like? We could all line up and let you shoot us down. If you don't mind risking a few bucks that is. EDIT: Also did you buy any of the packs yet? It could be showing up for people who didn't buy them as we who did get the "product installed" message. this is screwed! Laverde, GG...sorry I had to leave...my iphone crashed twice in the span of 2 games. not from hitting a frag limit either. here's the screenshot. this happens out of the blue. sometimes, it seems to be right after a rocket hit, but other times, just flying around. I'll be up high and it says I crashed and the splash sound goes off. I'm a good boy at rebooting my phone every hour or so, so I don't think it's that. I reset data and it still happens. It occurs rarely enough though - it's not everytime I play. Maybe a few times every 2 weeks or so? anyone else experiencing this? It's frustrating. All other games and apps on my iphone work without issue so it has to be this app. Cheers, keebler
GG, Solo Chicken wing, Mayhem, :, and oooooooooooo I don't know if it was the real "Solo Wing" or only a funster from TA, but it was a fun game with lot's of smoke... It was mostly me who was smoking, the BF against zeroIIIs and p38 is always smoking.
Cool.. there is a point gap. Funny thing. From where does it come? Maybe It's the big crowd coming from the BoB version? It's strange to have a gap. Like two crowds on the same way, but some of them started much earlier... So there must have been a time, where there were no new players coming in the game.
